Hi, my name is Sam, aged 12, from England.
I’ve been playing drums since I was 6 and worked my way through the Trinity College London syllabus, achieving grade 8 when I was 10 and the ATCL Diploma, aged 11.
I upload full drum cover videos which I hope inspire others. Most covers are recorded at home using 2 iPhones for different angles and the sound is unedited. Although some are played accurately to the sheet music, most are my own interpretation of the drums and may not be perfect!
Early videos were played on an Alesis electric kit but I now have a Roland VAD306 which I would definitely recommend if you want to keep the neighbours happy! I have a Pearl acoustic kit which I only use for gigs - yes I’ve been lucky enough to have been gigging since I was 10.

How did you play drums without your shoes bro… me personally thats hard… nice one ❤
Personally, I practice at home so often that I can’t play consistent doubles on my kick with shoes/socks on! It’s way quicker to sit down at my kit to play some in bare feet than going to put shoes on. I’ve been needing to get shoes to keep in my room so that I can get more consistent because I doubt I’d wanna go barefoot if I ever played on stage haha
