‘Otherside’ is a bodyboard video I have been working on for several months. My goal with this project is to showcase what makes bodyboarding unique in New Zealand. The diverse landscapes, the welcoming people and of course the variety of waves. I’ve had a lot of fun (and challenges) creating this and I hope it makes you want to get out and explore this beautiful country

Great video but visitors need to know: very limited parking, no dogs allowed, no toilets close by, no cellphone reception, no shops...

Hey! Whakapapa has jumps but not rails, best to try Turoa for better terrain park👍

How do you get here? It must be near to another waterfall!
Surprisingly it isn't near another waterfall, this one only appears after heavy rain in a small creek. This is near Waitakere but the tracks are temporarily closed due to 'Kauri Dieback'

That's mokorua near muriwai. I lost my way to get there but I will finding next time.
This is located off Waiere Rd, in Swanson. Falls are called Matuku...after the native bird..However unfortunately the Forest and Bird Reserve is closed due to Kauri Die Back.
