This video contains three experiments with ice and water. The first experiment is water umbrella. The surface tension property is used to show the umbrella-like formation of water when it falls on a bottle cap from a tap. Ice melts rapidly in hot water. The cold water goes downward and creates a convection current. The ice moves in the hot water due to this convection current. The other experiment uses the fact that ice has more volume than water. The volume of water increases when the water freezes. This is why ice floats on the surface of the water.
