Large Resin memorial piece using dried funeral flowers 💐Making process
Переглядів 135Рік тому
I created this large beautiful memorial piece using funeral flowers that were dried out in silica sand for a few weeks. I placed the flowers in a lovely arrangement, using iridescent mylar flakes too, and little glass beads, with just the right balance amount of negative space. This can be laid on either side or flat. It is almost 2 inches thick, 7 inches high, and 7.5 inches wide. Over 1000ml ...

#7 Acrylic Dutch pour 'TIGERS SPIRIT' 🐆 A BIG FAIL🤦‍♀️ into a success👍 MUST SEE~ DONT GIVE UP💪🏻
Переглядів 62 роки тому
Watch how I turned this fail into a success. I made many mistakes in this piece. This is only my 7th time, and first time using a hairdryer. In the end, this piece turned out great. I thought about calling this piece 'Tigers spirit'. Because someone pointed out that there is a tigers face in it, it is in tigers colours and also because Tigers are determined creatures, and I was very determined ...

    These turned out very pretty! The lights are a beautiful addition. What do you estimate the cost of the resin for such a project to be? Even for one letter that size?

    • @UniqueCreationsx
      @UniqueCreationsx Рік тому

      Hi Rachel, thank you for your comment. The resin is about £10 worth. about 500ml worth. Just an estimate. I buy my resin in bigger batches, as its cheaper that way :)

    Do you add a small amount resin & then add your accessories? Or add resin wait then second layer add the accessories?

    • @UniqueCreationsx
      @UniqueCreationsx 2 роки тому

      Hi, you can do it either way, but i think its best to do a small amount of resin first, that way the very front of your piece will be glossy and clear. Its really up to you. But this piece was done in about 4 layers. :)

    I’m confused? What’s the point of the gloves? Is there a safety issue with working with wire? Other than it flying into your eyes potentially?

    • @UniqueCreationsx
      @UniqueCreationsx 2 роки тому

      Thanks for your comment. I wear the gloves because I have contact dermatitis on my hands, and sometimes it can look quite horrible on camera. Its not on my finger tips, just the palms, and its quite raw and sore at times.

      Hi Star, Sorry for the late reply. Im just trying to navigate thriugh UA-cam. I used a 40cm diameter MDF board, thn I used different coloured resin powder. I als placed mirrors and crystals on this piece too. I didnt make a video f this, as it was my first piece. I have uploaded some playlist clips of my latest resin piece. :) Thank you for your question.
