Never forget the feeling at church on Sundays on MCRD Parris Island hearing this song and watching the recruits graduating before you sing the hymn afterwards. Then at the the end of the 13 weeks we were singing it. Gives me chills

I grow up with 2 us Marines in my famlly and one was a di out if the Marines dye if barin tomor at age 53 and one was 49 never new him but they both fight I'n war and they both dead cuz if the camp lawsuit from the marine core bass they are both gone to young but I sand with all us Topps but the Marines are my aide

When I walked across the parade ground on that we graduated it was the best feeling I ever had. When I saw my mom and grandmother and sister I felt I accomplished what i started out to do.

I'm USN but I have great respect for the Marines!!! My son was a corpsman with the Marines!!!
