Dr. Cowles and I go on a Sabbath Hike, it was pretty intense as we never even stopped to rest.
I have a sneaking suspicion that he was like this cause I was the only one who showed up.
and he wanted to go home and take a nap.
but regardless I had fun going someplace I had never been.
I've always been fascinated by ruins and abandoned place, so it was cool to "explore" here.

Cool Algae at Cape Alava w/ Master Fitch

Master Fitch, takes the kids to Cape Alava, Washington to go look for new algae. Yours truly hadn't completed his algae collection, so while everyone else was having fun and finding new stuff, I was freaking out trying to get all of the needed algae found and accounted for. It's whatever though, I'm reformed now.

During our Phycology trip to La Push WA, David gets separated from his classmates. Like an Idiot, he thinks a random group of people walking down the beach are his classmates. He is then lead on a random goose chase until he reaches at the end of the beach, which he then realizes how screwed over he truly is hahahahha

In late July, the Biology Students at Rosario go on a little ride to the Olympic Coast, we rode a ferry, played with some pigs, and then built tents. IDK there isn't much to say except that it was fun.
Dirt Track Attack: Skagit Speedway

we watched those cars go real fast, and real left. this was one of my favorite memories from this summer. I had never been to a race track let alone a dirt one. the demographic of this type of event, is what you would find typically at like a county fair. lots of missing teeth, questionable tatoos, and white skin. It was a blast and I would watch another one of these races in a heartbeat.
Olympic Evergreen Scuba: Pinnacle Dive

I got an itch to go diving again while I was up in the PNW, I hadn't done any diving in almost a year. Nonetheless Cold Water Diving I found a class with the Evergreen Dive Service out of Everett Washington. So I completed the last dive for my advanced dive cert on the Olympic Penisula. :)

Rosario Celebration: Boom Beach Since we couldn't light off fireworks at the school, we did the next best thing and shot them at each other on the Reservation. in this dorky video, immediately after finishing being a teacher at PSDA, I take some time to clear my head while in Guam, I'll never forget that feeling..... it was like I was lost, no longer surrounded by anyone I knew or cared for, adrift in a place more glamorous but devoid of island spirit. I miss Pohnpei.

I originally was supposed to fly back on Saturday from Kosrae, but there was a flight back on Tuesday. because McClain was so helpful and taught my classes, I was able to go diving and eat some pizza thanks, McClain with out your support this video couldn't have been possible.

is evergreen cause the color of the water? just kidding...I dove the puget sound on the mid 90 s from tropical waters to dry suits was fun and different but now that Im back at the tropics.. I m bless with the visibility and diverse sea life. But northwest diving was incredible experience...saw 6 gills sharks, big octopus "agata pass bridge" huge flounders, huge everything.
Its an honor to be watched by somebody who has been on youtube for so long. But yes I hadn’t done any cold water diving before this. So it was defenitely a treat.
Some of my fondest memories in Washington are in the Rosario area. Miss you David
