I had some serious problems in this picture with blending. It’s why the finished product ended up being shorter. Long story short, this particular paper does not withstand excessive rubbing. I need to invest in better suited paper for this medium in the future. This paper is for markers primarily.

They are soft core pencils that are oil based. I've only used them a couple of times and want to get better at using them.

Not only is that possible, but you could do it better than me. It just takes practice, patience, and attention to details. I get really rusty when I don't do it for a while (I wish I had more time and energy to stay in practice)

I scanned and colored it digitally this time in Krita. That way you can use whatever blue you want. But if you are using markers, start with the lightest blue you have. That might be enough for the look you want. Otherwise gradually go darker until you find the right color. I would test the colors on a scrap paper. If you color digitally, just download an image of Todd Mcfarlane art, drop it as a new layer in your software, use the dropper tool to get the color, hide or delete that layer, and then color away with official Spider-man comic colors ✌️

Haha, I wish I had time to take commissions. I have three little kids and work a full time job. I draw when I have time for fun :-) I work in theatre production in a scene shop, where I often get to use my artistic talents on a large scale. Sometimes that means that I'm not in the mood to draw at home. I am working on the next drawing however, but probably won't get to finish it until next weekend. I have a few more drawings planned in this Spiderman series, but am open for requests and suggestions. I always make the artwork available to download in the description in black and white as a coloring page, but if you really like the drawing in color, I can make that available to download as well.

Thankfully, video game music doesn't trigger a copyright claim 😎

I'm glad. Spider-man is one of those characters that I don't get tired of drawing. There will be at least 26 episodes in this series (there may be a few bonus episodes 😃).
