Hey mate, great video I’ve been offered a dumper truck the same as this but just trying to do a bit of research. Do you know how wide the wheelbases and what sort of weight this vehicle is as I need to find a trailer but I don’t wanna buy a massive Trailer, just something suitable for a small dumper

just change oil every 75 hrs and you will never have any issue. at 500hrs now on mine

Hi. I have the same dumper and having a real challenge with the clutch belt which keeps braking after 20mins or so of use. Are you able to tell me where you bought your belts from? I'm in the UK. Thanks.

Get rid of that ridiculous exhaust pipe before you break the port off the cylinder head.

That exhaust is far too much weight unsupported on two small manifold bolts. Be better to put original muffler back at a lower level ?

In America we call them a Georgia buggy and they're mostly used for hauling concrete !

What tyres does it have? Size and type?

Have just acquired a little benford dumper with a petter engine, love what you have done with yours, need a few pointers if parts are available still and where to find them 👍

Sweet little dumper. I do hope the engine is being stopped the correct way, and not using the decompression lever. I always worry when I see the lever already in the upright (decompressed) position at the start of a video, which signifies to me that perhaps it was left that way from the last time the Petter was shut down!

It's a Petter AVA1 or PH1 Engine in a Benford LEP 15Cwt Dumper, Good old machines, Still alot about. I keep many original new parts for these machines, Belts, king pins/bushes, all steering box components, engine parts, skip check chains, clutch control brackets, brake components, handbrake levers, cables, Engine parts and some gearbox parts.

The vibrations are really resulting in some high forces on the manifold

Nice old thing. Have you considered to support the exhaust before it breaks the cylinder head?

glow plugs, or the heater control unit, glow plugs should stay on for short while after starting. or maybe the fuel system

I have a liner roughrider 3/4 ton. 60s. Single Cylinder Petter ava1. From Gateshead. I actually live in Canterbury haha. Lovely little dumper.

Since I cleaned the injectors with a liquid in the diesel tank, I never had any problems.

Glow plugs make sure my father is the same with Isuzu Trooper problem was eventually changed - and quickly plant for cold.
