And also the dielectric properties & breakdown voltage thresholds of the insulation materials used in this valve hall?

@cruzmartino The noise is caused by magnetostriction effect & vibration of the transformers and reactors.. it normal

This is DC,not AC.

MOST BIG TX S HAVE BIG FINS WITH FANS ON THEM , CUT ON AUTO BY TEMP SWITCH , CAN BE COOLED WITH WATER SPRAYED ON THE FINS IN EMERGENCY ....

The metal mesh screens on that walkway would provide you with excellent protection. Providing you don't step into an unshielded area, you are perfectly safe.

@@jeron9272 Yes. The mesh surrounding the walkway creates a 'Faraday cage'. As long as you stay within that cage, you are perfectly safe.
