I'm playing this on the guitar sometimes. I also find the second part of it very nice, it has 'schwung', very 'catchy'. This album of them has been my favourite for a long time. 'ut av skoggsmørke... over trollberg!'. I also like Frost's drumming very much. The guitar is the perfect black metal sound. Awesome.

Black metal is better than 90% of music being made today. The metal scene is overtaken with shitty core bands. We need stuff like this again

Does anyone remember a female metal singer led band with a song that was I think called "Keep running" that went something "Your anger..... Crystallized my thoughts" I can't remember the band name but they had a song they went something like "Come on get up!!!! I'm not a coward! You just don't do it! Instinct and passion, passion and faith it just means you're not ready to keel! Just do it.... instinct and passion, passion and faith."

Es ist total abgefahren, im Metalbereich eine modale Komposition mit Saxophon zu machen und dann noch mit einer b13 Tension als Ausgangspunkt. Das erzeugt auch diesen skandinavischen Flair.

Total starker Song mit coolen b13 Tension. Statt Miles Davis Quarten macht Ihsahn das auf Basis von offenen Powechords. Supercool, Respekt!!! Das Saxophon passt auch sehr gut. Allerdings habe ich den leisen Verdacht, dass dss Saxophon technisch noch besser für den Song hätte sein können, was dem Song gut getan hätte.
