@@Davidgoldenswan I believe Dune parts one and 2 tell the story of the first novel Dune, but you’re right it is going to be a trilogy, apparently with the last movie covering all of the novel Dune Messiah.

The movies part one and two only cover the first book. The third movie will be the second book and that’ll be it. Although I suggest reading the first 6 books in the dune series I personally think “Children of Dune” is the best of them

@@mariusbabii sadly these were already getting hard to find when I got them, but NECA is always releasing new versions. At one time target had them for around $35 apiece.

@@mariusbabii I’m not sure what you’re referring to, but these retailed for $35 each at target. If you look you can probably find them for around that price from eBay etc. if you paid $24 apiece you paid well under retail price, good job…or got bootlegs. Hopefully not.

@Godzillaking695 some people do focus entirely on the figures which I never got. I just hope we eventually get more traditional style builds. But they’ve done some of that with the 18 plus sets and animal crossing

@Godzillaking695 Care to elaborate? For me, it’s not even so much the figures I wanted from a Mario theme, it’s just more traditionally designed LEGO sets. Which, for many decades, have been in minifigure scale. Using the digital Mario and course builder system means we haven’t gotten a proper peach’s castle, bowser’s castle, etc.

@ Sadly almost all collectibles say that, and I’m sure a big part of it is if Amazon doesn’t pack it well and the box gets dented, collectors who don’t take out of the box return it.

The other reason is I hear they sometimes send 4 Dino bots no matter what you ordered.

@@Davidgoldenswan Going by the sheer amount of plastic and weight, it’s a fair price for a detailed fully articulated figure. However, I totally agree. It’s hard to lay that down for a figure no matter the size, especially when it’s the turtles and of course you want all 4 😆

That’s what I’m thinking. They don’t taste like they went through a lot of testing.

@@Davidgoldenswan I feel like this one tapped a lot of people out (including me when it was full retail) due to the cost. I think it’d take a bigger company to come in who can mass produce and sell cheaper. But I don’t think the really big companies are too interested in massively premium toys, and super 7 and NECA have already had their stab at it. People seem to like the NECA one too, though most seem to consider this super 7 one the “ultimate”. You never know though. Down the road someone may make one even crazier. My money is on the technodrome being the next crazy expensive one. And it’d have to be even bigger. 😅

@@porkflaps4717 Everything that can go on the full size legends HD can go on the Micro and plays the same. However, ever since they released the 4K machine, they basically abandoned the legends HD and micro. So no, at this point I highly doubt it. If you want the smaller and less expensive micro, there’s still a ton of tables loaded on it and tons more you can download, but I was bummed that the Williams tables, my favorites, were 4K exclusive.

@@Davidgoldenswan I thought I was being as careful as possible, had my tweezers and a Q-tip to smooth things out. And still I kept being just a little more crooked than I wanted. 😑 But I’m still happy with it.

It looks like I’ve gotten tons of figures at once, but some of these I’ve had a while and for whatever reason wait to post a video. These 15” figures are not cheap, but they are pretty great. As close as possible to pulling a turtle out of the original cartoon and making it into a 3D figure.

@@alanyale4611 retail is $55 on almost any super 7 ultimates figure. I feel like they should have a sliding scale, so more standard (aka not huge) figures should sell for less. That said, I know big bad toy store has worf for $35 right now, though finding the others on sale is difficult.

@@RahhmiPoofs I’m sure the license alone costs more than that, and certainly these are much higher detail and quality than a standard $10-$15 toy off the shelf at Walmart. But I do think it’s a shame they can’t/don’t sell them for less than they do.
