That cycle lane is wide to accommodate all these middle class cyclists in their expensive cycle gear who block the roads. They don't even realise they are just being used as part of the agenda to eliminate all petrol vehicles.

I stayed at this hotel many years ago for a work Christmas do as I was working for a construction company at the time. I got absolutely sh*t faced. Worst hangover of all time and I had to drive back to london early the next day.

It makes me wonder whether this fire was not an accident, but for the company that owns it, or a prospective buyer to build something on it. But it will lose a lot of what Brighton is

I thought we were going to see the actual demolition job get under way? And I for one, still don't know who started the fire. And if that wind can blow as strong as that in July what must it be like in winter?

That's such a shame ....it was a lovely building but in need of great repair and updating.....their bar prices were quite reasonable and you could sit in the lounge with a sea view...it was usually pretty empty in there too!!! I hope too many original features are not lost...x maybe now the company will spend the money on it x

Me and my mum stayed at the hotel years ago .it was not very clean rats running over your feet. Staff very nasty. It was on a coach holiday. Very bad hotel but please rebuild the damaged part.

Beautiful building(s). The undamaged part ironically survived a big fire in 1998. The walls look very thin, though, like those of The Royal Clarence in Exeter, which was even more extensively demolished after the fire of 2017.

They may aswell demolish the whole of the royal Albion an build an up to date decent hotel that compliment the sea front

My Mum, a Towler, is from Sudbury. Used to live on Clarence Road. Her sister, my Aunt and her Wardman family, used to live down Ballingdon, her husband, John Wardman, ran a chemist's in town, after his dad, down near Stn Rd, later up near the church top of market square. All g o n e now.

Camera movements too fast and pick the camera up so you are not filming the ground and people can see the views.

Why the hell would anyone want to move to Sudbury!?? It's a filthy crime ridden hole full of drug addicted gangster wannabes. You can barely walk through town especially at night without being threatened or abused. Only a few days ago a man was badly beaten because he walked down the wrong ally way near a drug dealers house. even during the day it's common to see crack heads staggering around town begging for money. Most of the town smells of cannabis, there is rubbish and dog mess everywhere. Generally a horrible place that is well worth avoiding.
