Went to the game. Preston did what Sunderland have so often done this season. They had a lot of the ball but didn’t really capitalise on that. Sunderland were the better team first half then seemed to shut up shop, perhaps for the derby against Newcastle on Saturday. Sometimes you just have to get the job done and, like Leicester have even shown, getting direct and taking your chances pays dividends. Fair play for coming up on NY. I did a 8 hr round trip but obviously it’s easier when you get 3 points. Good luck for the rest of your season.
