Why Every Music Producer Needs to Know Sync: Lessons from Marcus 'Da Fingaz' Manderson
No black person has made a black platform yet. You can't expect a white person to create one just out of white guilt alone. You have a great idea, you should create this for real and if you did, it could be Facebook big. And why shut down the white panel just because of the companies that agreed to participate. You don't know, he could have reached out to black companies and got shut out cuz they wouldn't participate in a white organized panel. Plus, why was it necessary to drag the guy through the mud like that? Literally fucked his shit all up just for loving hip hop enough to create a panel to discuss it. Fuck that apology. Y'all should apologize to him. It was nothing other than unnecessary racism on the part of black Twitter. You realize how ridiculous it was shutting him just for Celebrating an aspect of your culture. Straight racism. Black people are some of the most racist in this country because they get away with one hundred percent of the time. You laugh at racism toward white people, or even claim that it's impossible to be racist toward white people but y'all shut the guy down for being opposite of racist. He loved your music and y'all fucked him. Racist assholes. Sad mfers. Turn around and look at yourselves. Most of your problems come from there, not white folks.
Modern black music 🎶 is basically a bunch of trauma survivors preaching bad ideas. They musicians have kept the n word alive better than the men in sheet's. And the musicians normalized calling women dog's. The musicians normalized I don't need no man culture TLC ,destinys child. If you asked a therapist from the 60s about today's rap and r&b they would call it propaganda from our enemies.
Yes we need all the help we can get. If anyone needs to be humble it's us. We can't even have kid's within wedlock. That's the most default adult standard and we can't do that right. The black music culture is a sickness it's mentally ill trauma survivors preach to the public. What is modern black music.

Adele, Aerosmith, The Beatles, Beyoncé, Bruce Springsteen, Celine Dion, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Earth, Wind & Fire, Eddy Grant, Elton John, Everlast, Foo Fighters, Free, Guns N' Roses, Isaac Hayes, Johnny Marr, Leonard Cohen, Lincoln Park, Luciano Pavarotti, Neil Young, Nickelback, Nico Vega, The O'Jays, Ozzy Osbourne, Panic! at the Disco, Pharrell Williams, Phil Collins, Prince, Queen, R.E.M., Rihanna, The Rolling Stones, Sinéad O'Conner, Tom Petty, Twisted Sister, Village People, and The White Stipes have all had their music used by Trump without their permission and came out publicly denouncing such use
Recently Beyoncé sent Donald Trump a cease and desist letter. So YES. They may not stand for what he stands for.
This shaquille o neal?
Lol
Less talk, more action
All facts 💪🏾
Stop rapping about lies
it depends who owns the rights, many song writers and bands have sold the rights to their music,Dylan ,Springsteen,Pink Floyd for e.g so the artists can make a statement that they disagree but have no power to stop it,the owner of the rights has the say
They can and some did ❤
Yes
Yes, they can stop him from using their music, in fact several arts have told him to not use the music
WRONG! IT'S A VIOLATION OF THE FIRST AMENDMENT! IF THIS WAS THE CASE, POETS, AUTHORS, ETC CAN CENSOR ANYONE, AND THIS SETS A BAD PRECEDENT. IF THEY COME FOR ONE, THEY WILL COME FOR ALL. THIS IS DISCRIMINATION. IF THEY DON'T WANT ANYONE USING THEIR MUSIC, THEN DON'T MAKE OR PUBLISH IT. THE ARTISTS ARE ALREADY GETTING PAID FOR THEIR WORK.
Yes, indeed, some of the artists have already stopped him❤❤
She’s not black and her family owned slaves
"ESPECIALLY respect her because she's black.". Nice.
She's Indian look at her mom, she's appointed, all the primary votes are stolen 🙄 stfu

Muddy the waters to make them look deep. Get out of the puddle
Racial obsession has just set us all back decades. These are fools looking to grift.
Let it go just live your life . Tired ole’ trite. Sick of it.
I’m waiting on a wyt women to step in and explain this to these black men, cause really, who else does it better.
Computer science degree or not you need to speak to English language correctly to be taken seriously
Can you go back and read your sentence please?
Wow not me making this type of music and trying to find out about contracts like this !
Right! Can you imagine making elevator music and getting 100k a year!
Consistency is key....!!!!
Definitely the key and it is being consistent doing the right things.
definitely a tool for me ... AI took my lyric & audio sample plus a few prompts and came up with a new, lead vocalist, melody, chord progression that sounds as good my original demo ... some may say better lol ua-cam.com/video/6Wwq6LcEOLE/v-deo.html
Yes!! We da best!
Thanks for tuning in!
Sir, you made it so incredibly clear, and importantly, undiluted with filler. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH.
You're very welcome!

Fast high hats and mumble rapping = hit
That seems to be the formula right...
Great teaching bruv
I definitely appreciate it.
Nah AI will replace song writers. AI will replace jobs that require heavy repetition in the workflow and have a quality language model to base responses off of. Most jobs that require regurgitating words will be replaced by AI. Songwriting, copywriting, editing, etc.
I think it will have some type of impact but I don't think it will replace it. Music creatives will need to learn how to embrace it and use it effectively because it is not going away.
Music industry has been this tortured and convoluted since the beginning. This digital connected era just reduced the number of people needed. Scale is going to matter less and less. Being a big fish in your own smaller pond is the way
This is the way!
You have to be satisfied with what you do without validation from others. Some of the most revered artists aren’t universally appreciated until after they’re gone.
This is absolutely true! As you get older you learn that external validation isn't really worth much!
Keep it up sir, my generation needs to hear more of this. 😊👍
Thanks. I really appreciate you tuning in!
Oh nooo, a certain genre of music decided to take care of their artists and create programs to help with success while another genre didn’t. You’re making this about race but not artists. And like the other guy said, rap artists tend to have beef with each other, create drama, are violent towards each other. I don’t usually hear about bodyguards in country artists property being shot. Kendrick and Drake are prime example of why this isn’t feasible. Absolutely ignorant with no accountability for one’s own actions. All you can do is play the blame game. Rap is art, but most of it is about the artist’s struggle and that artist tends to create more struggle just so they can have something to rap about. Sorry that it’s a violent circle and that blues has been kicked to the curb.
I will say that you make some great points during the latter half of your statement. The first part, you may want to go back and do some research on black artist and the major record labels.
