I only dislike it because they blue balled us over flopper

so, for me, the map is pretty fun, neat idea, cool concept but... playing on console... I hated and still "dislike" it you lag when taking a jump pad, and then you... drop... into the pit... and lose everything... the wonderweapon is also mid... So, I had some fun with it until that happened twice in a night and ruined me and friends run, killing our desire to ever play the map. Losing a close recovery for round 30 that early on was... just damn. It isnt like I was good either, but being the last one to make it, and then dying to falling because of lag, not even zombies, just scuffed... I guess any zombies map you could die to lag... but that memory is so vivid

I love die rise! Its the best solo map IMO. The sliquifier + AN94 + running laps in the upside-down room easily gets me to level 50+. Mob is my favorite but Die Rise is a close 2nd.

Who’s who is an OP perk especially in solo! When you downed with it and said it was pointless, I don’t think you fully under its power. In solo if you go down with quick review, you don’t actually need to revive yourself and because you have who’s who, it acts as if you used your extra life to revive yourself MEANING you not only get revived via self revive, you keep the other 4 perks and only lose quick and who’s who! Of course you need to survive while cloned for it to work lol!

Die Rise is the 2nd best map in BO2 imo, after Origins.

Die Rise, along with Tranzit especially (sort of Buried, but not as much), I believe got much better over the course of time. Jimmy’s maps (I don’t wanna spell his last name) generally had that more classic Zombies feel to them, and I believe Die Rise is no exception. Now, I don’t think the map is amazing, but I do think it can be very fun. You can do the “glitch” to unpatch the Sliquifier and use it after Round 100 no problem, you can get all of your perks and get set up if you need to, you can ride the elevators in a beneficial instead of dangerous manner, you can get set up with the Tramplesteam to help you, etc. If you view the map through the lens of fundamental and classic Zombies, not needing an Easter Egg or a major story plot to it, and just looking at it as this standalone survival experience…Die Rise does a wonderful job. It’s hard, it’s rewarding, it has a bunch of different areas, there’s all sorts of ways to play, and the gun balancing was done pretty well. That to me is how I enjoy Die Rise. It’s as a challenge, a classic Zombies experience, and something to enjoy spending my time on. It doesn’t need to be like the other maps, even if it could’ve been more than what it was
