I was running heavy equipment when cat switched there dozers over to power shift torque converter models, and before that they were all direct drive . I was running the cable operated models D8 36A dozers back in the day . I was one of the first to take delivery of 2 D8 46 A models with hydraulics and power shift out here on the west coast over 50 years ago . 😎
