Welp, we didn't find any monkey's at Monkey Mia but there were dolphins and flies. Windy days well spent at the resort and less windy days in the kayak at Francois Peron national park.

How wonderful to travel from sea to summit in 20 minutes. Exmouth was one of our favourites and we will be back. As we reluctantly leave to travel more of the west we are grateful for the times we had at Exmouth. Hope you enjoy!

After months spent travelling through the north of Australia we finally made it to the Ningaloo reef. This national park is jam packed with beautiful snorkelling reefs, surf breaks, canyons and wildlife (and delicious ice-cream). Exited to share more in part 2!

A shame we had to scurry away from this beautiful national park but grateful we squeezed in some adventures before the rain hit.

This waterfall blew us away with it's golden, majestic delight. We felt so entranced by it's beauty and although we are terrified of the (very rare) potential saltwater croc we swam out to the waterfall and climbed our way to a secret pool in the rocks. Our favourite waterfall so far!

The giants of the outback reaching lengths of 55 metres, they dominate the highways. As we ventured into the centre of Australia we witnessed these mechanical wonders slither through the most remote regions. All shapes and sizes they break the vast silence of the outback and we grew to appreciate them and their habitat. The first time we marvelled road trains was at a lookout at Devil's Marbles...
