Lego Natural History Museum built entirely in stop-motion. LEGO Icons 10326
Teaching myself stop-motion the hard way. 8 Days of trial and error, using a mix of the in-camera stop-motion function on the Panasonic GH4 and eventually the Stop Motion Studio app for Mac with my iPhone (way better!).
I learned a ton, mostly about locking down the camera and the set, but happy to hear your comments and feedback! Subscribe for more to come.

I went to The "Wellington Brickshow": WELL-LUG's (Wellington Lego User Group) #lego convention. Amazing inspiration and I came home with tons of ideas (and a cute picture frame). Looking forward to meeting fellow brick folks soon!

One of the more beautiful lego sets. Three lovely relaxing days channeling Van Gogh. I kept my ear, tho.

My set "After Hours" on New Zealand TV3 For the Americans watching this: BNZ = Bank of New Zealand Whitebait Fritter pic www.planitnz.com/blog/whitebait-on-the-west-coast/
this made me so happy <3
Well done - that’s awesome. I’m doing a stop motion as I build too - but nothing this amazing 👍👍👍👍
can't wait to see it!
Well this is gonna earn an obvious sub. Awesome video. :)
Beautiful! Why was the phone better than the GH4?
Just easier to get the lighting and focus right, especially since StopMotion Studio lets you lock in the settings. The better the camera, the easier it is to get something wrong. Also the GH4 can't tether to my laptop as a monitor so it was hard to see what I was doing with it....
I immediately went to your channel to find more like this and realized there wasnt any more speed builds 😢 good job, very relaxing to watch (eveb tho it mustve been a pain to film haha)
Such an amazing job❤
this was awsome!
love how the figurine is just in distress the entire time
Outstanding creativity and a good shot of ASMR. Easily the next best thing to building it with my sons. At 71, somewhat self conscious about building solo, and our new grandson is just a little young at 3 months. A fourth generation builder to be. I can wait. Thank you.
I'm in my 50s, no kids. No shame in my game. Buy the sets you want!
Very nice. Impressed how many videos this has got, nice to see a stop motion build getting reconised. I've been doing builds like this for over a year and youtube never reconises the effort that goes into building in stop motion. Amazing video and love all the little funny animations within it. If your using a proper camera and pc try digicam or dragon frame. I used stop motion studio but found not great for builds
Thank you very much! Will invest in dragon frame when I can afford it. Your builds are great. I think I just lucked out with my thumbnail
@@neildbear I really want to pick it up, tested with it and watched so much it looks good. Digicam works well for now but soon to upgrade. It's awesome to see a build do so well and be done nicely. Been checking out some of your others. Love the unicorn - been waiting to do that set since my daughter got it for her birthday 😂
I want this set so badly now... Great video
Thank you 🤗
This was amazing!!! Can’t wait for the next one!
More to come!
Nice vid
Amazing short film. Fantastic premise. Great humor.
👍
That was incredible. How many photos did you take?
more than 3600, by my math
Nice statues
How nice !
Thank you! Cheers!
nice work !
This is so impressive. Wife and I watched and amazed. If you don mind, how did you make the video without showing hands? 😅 this is like magic to me
I used an app called stop motion studio: added a brick or two, moved a figure a smidge, sat back and took a picture. Repeat for days....
Thank you so much@@neildbear will check out that app!
My favorite part? The statue just wandering off for a second coffee break.
so glad you caught that!
I loved getting to see all the details! Some of the minifigures movements were so funny, like the three of them placing their heads down hahahah
Thank you so much!
This is insane!! very amazing!!🔥👏🏻
Thanks 🔥
This was so fun to watch! It has that special charm old youtube videos have
Awesome video. Just got this baby in the mail yesterday.
Enjoy it. It's a fun build. Lots of little stories emerge as you move page to page
Makes my work look like child’s play, this is extremely impressive
Fantastic! It seems the Wilhelm scream makes it into everything these days... lol. I respect your patience to complete this video!
It was my first long shoot, the scream had to be in there somewhere
amazing video, loved the "participation" of the minifigs and the jokes
Really cool! That must've taken a lot of patience! I do stop motions too but I've never tried something so big!
I didn't realize what I was getting myself into...
NICE!
Thanks!
0:20...look, bones in the underground...lets cover it up with a floor...sometimes I don't get how the creators of this modular buildings get to waste so many opportunities.
I don't know. I liked the bones (and the other hidden objects). They're like little secrets between me and the designers.
Well done! You have raise the bar.
this was the most awesome way to showcase all the details of a lego set ive ever seen, well done and thank you. extremely enjoyable
I love the way that the minifigures fall down when they finished building the stairs 😂
Just realized they introduced amputee figures, that’s pretty cool

She really doesn’t have a swappable head 😂 just that scared face that’s so odd
You caught me. I didn't notice she had a second smiling face until 3/4 of the way through the build, and by then it was too late. Lessons learned.
Great work! We have dabbled with Lego stop motion in the past, so we truly appreciate the work that goes into creating this. Keep up the great work, especially by adding the humorous touches which make these stop-motion videos enjoyable to watch!
Thank you so much 😃
Had to go back and see if there was more!
I really love this set but really out of my price range and space but really made me feel like I got to experience building it!
I want to go back and build the others in the series but it’ll take a while to save up…
Wow, I cannot even imagine how much time this must have took... Incredible stuff! :D
It's really hard work.
Great 😊
Wow this was seriously impressive. Thoroughly enjoyed thank you.
So glad!
🧡I loved this video, congratulations. I like how you did funny parts in the editing, I'm passionate about stop motion and I'm subscribing to your channel right now.🧡
Kudos to you! This looks awesome, i could never put this much effort into a project lol 🤩
What are the figures doing at 1:02 ?
I intended it to be them trying not to fall off the wall, but now I see what you mean...
Brilliant ❤
This bro is the real Pro
