This could be an unbiased opinion, but in my eyes the bosses in all three games of the advance series, go something like this: Sonic Advance 1: Mildly difficult, Weird Designs (Especially the one in Casino Paradise (I totally forgot the name sorry), ending fight is SLIGHTLY challenging but not really, (no idea if it has a extra zone, it's been years since I've played it, please correct me if I'm wrong), also the bonus zone is pretty good. 7/10 Sonic Advance 2: Moderate Difficulty, Designs looks quite a bit improved (Except for the Egg Mobile with the platform hanging behind it, that one kind of is terrible), ending fight is pretty impressive, extra zone is actually challenging, the design looks wicked cool too, bonus zone is kinda underwhelming since you just run around avoiding a drone, 6.5/10 Sonic Advance 3: Boss designs are totally impressive, (the second one always gave me the biggest trouble because it's literally just a giant saw blade going around), the ending fight is super intense and awesome (best eggman robot in the Advance Series Imo), and the extra zone was unbelievable, since you had to be Super Sonic and work with Dr. Eggman after his creation transforms from the chaos emeralds, bonus zone is actually a lot more challenging then I thought, it's precision and keeping an eye on what's ahead of you, just like in the first one, 9.5/10 I should mention, these are just MY OPINIONS, you can agree or disagree if you want, I'm only stating what I think. music is great but the bosses themselves are either piss easy or shit hard

I hated the bosses in this game so much but I would still love to see them rerelease these games some of the best 2d sonic games

This game is what all sonic games should be. Emphasis on speed, lots of rings to collect, and most of all, bosses that you have to actually chase! Unless it’s the final boss, Sonic shouldn’t be in a static location fighting a machine head-on, instead he should be chasing that machine and struggling to get hits on it, and only struggling that much more when he enters the Pinch Phase.
