i was running them in previous versions instead of Virtue of Persistence but i had too many situations where i wish to have a removal instead of the bean. that said, i play less beans in most decks compared to other players. i m probably cursed if using this card, so i reduce or avoid it ;) it s a good card and "should" work very good in thsi brew... :/ this deck has other options to draw cards which i prefere atm.

But I had to tweak it a bit because of the kind of opponents I met These are the changes I did: -2 Cut down -1 Liliana, Dreadhorde Commander -2 Render inert -1 Sheoldred -1 Swamp -1 Mirrex -1 Llanowar wastes +1 Pawpatch Formation +1 Duress +1 Vivien Reid +3 Fabled Passage +3 Forest Arena for some reason does not want me to draw lands so final list had 27. I tried Llanowar elves but they just ended up soaking removal that would otherwise be a dead card in my opponents hand. Core of your deck was FIRE though. I had an absolute blast with this deck. THANK YOU SO MUCH

i think many people have an idea how golgari should be like and don t want to try anything new. honestly i was suprised too how good it was...i didn t expect it to be good enough to share ;) anyways, glad it works so good for you.

thanks, glad you have success with this. yeah, go wide decks can be a pain since this brew doesn t have boardwipes. you need to be able be very fast with playing the biggies to win. i don t understand what you mean with the enchantmens that could not be blocked. unblockable creatures? there are 2x Into the Roil which can handle almost anything... if you encounter too many permanents which are an issue you can swap Unsummon for ItFM.

@@phantasmsplayground I mean turn 1, 1 mana artifacts or class enchantments for example. Ill try a couple copies of ItFM and see how it works. Thanks!

haha, honestly, i had to concede 2 games because i wasn t able to see/pick my cards as i wish. had smt like 25-35 cards... i have a rather small screen for sure this doesn t help ;) Finale of Revelation or Outrageous Robbery are very good in this brew but at the same time i was happy when i "didn t had" to play it...

@@phantasmsplaygroundyeah fr I legit just hope I get white sun or exsanguinate but won’t draw more than 10 because it’s such a pain in the ass but I’ve have a lot of games where there is no board and once I crack rev, and look at my hand while the timer burns, they scoop.

@@phantasmsplayground idk how long "final" will take me with F2P lmao, the most significant improvement ive made is including 2 Spinner of Souls, really helps in the case of board wipes and trading off to the point where squeezing another one in isnt out of the question. Reduced the thornwealds and wardens to inclue 2 glissa sunslayer and an archdruid. i think if i got more archdruids or leafcallers id take more wardens out, really like the deathtouch/reach on the wealds. i lucked into 2 Banners of kinship and was running those instead of overrun for a while, it feels really good when the banners hit the board with 5+ elves out but ive found that the trample from overrun is way more impactful so they are back in. other than that just more dual lands that i had and a cavern of souls, would love a second one but i gotta hold out for wildcards. also i have a maelstrom pulse in there and i think i want another one in. that card is sick. been lucky and pulled it vs ubarask forge deck with 2 of them out and they scooped. also vs enchant decks where they have one creature voltroned out and another of the same with nothing on it, sneaky assassination without interacting with ward from enchants.

​@phantasmsplayground the biggest one for me was getting 2 Spinner of Souls in, it helps with board clear and trading value so much. One of the black removal enchants that gets you around ward/hexproof. A Maelstrom Pulse (want more of these), 2 glissa sunslayers. Would like maybe one lathil and cavern of Souls. End result is probably shifting more towards elfball with all the lords and tyvars, etc. Without a doubt spinner of Souls and Maelstrom pulse are sick though

h, you probably mean the attack at 1:35. yeah, this was bad. the others have been fine. i didn t realize when selecting this match...i usualy try to avoid showing this kind of mistakes... the match with the annexes was a risky play but could have payd off. obviously needed more lands, so more card draw might be correct.

@phantasmsplayground honestly they aremt worth it. I love playing them just because but I haven't been able to make them consistent.

Relive the past is a key card for them though and even if you aren't using g cats it's def something worth wildcards

i think it s difficult to come up with mono green which can perform good enough in mythic. naya might be better... i ll keep this in mind...

Yeah, might be better to wait for the next expansion to see if Green can be competitive. Would love to see what you can brew with Naya if you're able, although I'm not 100% sure it's there.

i m using only 2x Conqueror. it s not a big deal if i can t play it on curve. and Raise the Past is for mid/late game anyways...

Fear of lost teeth can be pretty good in the Dimir match up. You essentially sac it and have the death trigger target one of their 1 toughness creatures and you can kill another thing with a final vengeance or torch. I personally like Percussionist over free booter though

i really like the ping it gives. also, i have a couple of 4drops i don t like to miss if i draw them to early with the percussionist. the decks uses it s mana often, i slightly prefere the pirate over percussionst. also, it gives another sac target for braids. it s just a more versatile card. the deck is not fast, don t need hasty creatures.

@@phantasmsplayground Right on, I appreciate the insight! Gave it a go, and found the ping relevant a handful of times, and I totally understand not wanting to miss any of the 4-drop plays. Might try running a split of 2-2 because I occasionally still found myself in top deck mode. Pretty interesting to see all the different ways of building RB Sac in Standard right now!

yeah, i also usually don t play more than until mid season on the ladder. it becomes brain dead. i suggest look into brawl or play some off meta decks in the play queue.

yeah, it s a fun card but overall not strong enough. i prefere shelly or mirror.

wouldn t be my choice because it s slow and doesn t contribute to the crab/terror strategy. haughty djinn fits good. but you can try it, not everybody likes to play the same ;)
