WWHT's U68 was a short-lived but legendary music channel that originated in Newark New Jersey and broadcast into New York City. It had a much broader eclectic playlist than MTV and therefore was highly regarded by recording artists and viewers alike.

Genius ! He is a master in doing great diferente versions of the same song...,This is rocknroll !
This is exactly what Rock is all about. It's not pristine but rather something raw wild and sweaty. It makes you want to stop and pay attention to it.
I would not pay over 10 dollars to watch him preform
It’s a shame Rivers into the Rock Hall of fame. Sold millions of records. Written many classic hits.
Love these!!!
Great great performance, with 2/3 of the Plugz (the band that did the soundtrack for Repo Man). I wish he would have gone on the road with the Plugz (with original guitarist Tito Larriva and even Steven Hufsteter, later of Redd Kross). Much more spirited performances than the coked up players (fine musicians) he chose in 84 but the energy of this band - straight from the LA punk scene, able to play a variety of styles... Oh well. We got to see this in 84 and now on youtube.
One of the greatest songs ever!!
I remember at the end of this Letterman asked Dylan to do this nightly and it caught him off guard and he laughed.
Bob and the Talking headS❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Dylan can’t sing or play guitar very well and he absolutely sucks on the harmonica, nevertheless he was a good writer at times.
incredible ❤
There was another song played on the show in between these two: License To Kill.
I do not want to not have anything he has done.
I wouldn't have wanted to be in the receiving end of the look he gave the guy who handed him the wrong harp !
I dearly love the music of Tom Waits. Love, love, love ❤
Guitar player overslept, had to run through backyard laundry lines to make the gig.
And touch too much treble ... sound men should have reduced a tad ... trouble is you sometimes don't notice when on stage ... I'm as guilty as anyway ... cheers
Those folks who didn't like Dylan's 80s . Well, that's too bad for them.
better than most
👌😎
Sounds like a garage band from my old neighborhood.
Could they be any more interesting?. Also, wheres the rest?, it cut off just as Keith was comparing the Jamaicans and Vikings 😄
@@wtsnewpuscat unfortunately this is all that exists. Glad you like it!
Age doesn't seem to affect his guitar playing and unique voice any. Like any fine wine he seems to have gotten BETTER with age. His music is TIMELESS! 😢😮😢😮😊
Bloody wretched!
Absolutely fantastic The backing band ROCKS😊
I bet that rode he didn't have a job after giving in the wrong key harmonica😂😂😂😂
Adorable young Julian ❤
As good as blue eyed soul ever gets...man Southside can kill it.
Thank you for respecting the simplicity and beauty of this amazing song.
Status Quo have let themselves go
I saw Willy Nelson at 88. God thank your for preserving these gifted geniuses for us mortal fools to enjoy
He wrote about Trump in a prophetic way.
"Infidels" packs a pretty big wallop with today's current events. Timeless album.
Wow. Fantastic rendition. He’s on his game. Wow!
Bobʻs alot better a guitar player than most people think! His early solo acoustic albums always featured great picking, and on electric guitar, Bob can really blend with, and play off of another guitarist. I saw him a few times with G.E. Smith on guitar, and they always meshed together like theyʻd played together for years, but they were also so unpolished and spontaneous, the band would huddle together after each number, like they were saying “what do you wanna play next??” God bless Bob Dylan, live forever.
Rest in peace brilliant man from Illinois!
AGreatSingingMan..Yeah..
Just one great song!
This is awesome young Julian, very special ❤
For the rest of my life im going to regret that Bob didn't make an album with this band 😭
Yes! That would have been MAJOR!
Alright Bob one of a kind
whoa...bobs diggin it
Ginn is God
One of the guitarists became a preacher later in life.
Hmmmmm.....U68, New York's answer to MTV
Sonny Boy Williamson!!!
Absolutely.
Repeatedly challenged himself to grow as an artist and go outside his comfort zone.
Don't contact us, we'll contact you.
dylan searchin for the right harp......classic
John Ramistella !
You can see Keith getting higher and higher as the interview goes on! 😅
Hahahahaha! For real!
Mick looks like Jim Morrison. ✌️
