WORLD RECORD. i wanted a stronger world record to properly beat it. grinded this out after a 9 hour all-nighter lol I got a 4:33 4 or 5 times but with bad boss RNG every single time. this time I finally got somewhat good RNG with 6/4 drops. the perfect fight would be 4/4 drops and probably sub 4:30 but I aint doing that any time soon so gg

World record by almost 2 minutes (13:31 after retiming). I did a complete reroute and came up with something pretty clever i think. The run could be a little better with some minor stuff but otherwise it's totally solid. Really happy with this one :3 And that completes the world record sweep of Barbuta! Thank you ladies and gentlemen. It's been a pleasure.

World record with a new route I came up with!! Retimed to 8:30. Literally an almost perfect speedrun, very good mushrooms, but choked on the boss fight. Could've had an 8:23 :( peep the map though starting in ladder room. red square is the player, black square is the run killing blood skeleton encounter. that mf was stalking me and made my anxiety so much worse lol

Watch my 4:34 run! two cycle boss fight still eludes me arghgh I discovered you can jump over the slime (you know the one) but in all my practice i couldnt get past the slime drop. it's VERY close though. 3:50.98 to be exact. Low 3:50 in-game time. Beginning was incredibly sloppy but I nailed the spring dive at the end. Could easily save another second but mashing hurts so I'll wait for someone to beat it again lol NEVERMIND beaten with new fence clip strat :)

Any% no air swim glitch. Pretty close to the old any% route before ~the incident~ with a little more platforming. Definitely not a perfect run but very satisfying. Lots of room for improvement or new skips.

New world record is 3:50 on my channel. couldnt let go the fact that my 3:52 run messed up the screw strat right at the end so i did more runs. It's pretty much perfect up until the spring at the very end kinda robbing me of another second lol i even got like 3 more runs after that all end up with this same wonky spring issue and fail by half a second or so. but whatever this is it now. 2 secon...

BEATEN BY 1 SECOND WITH A BETTER RUN. CHECK MY PAGE. alright im done now unless someone beats it lmao lost a couple seconds on stupid failed wall jumps right at the end of the run but whatever. everything else was good and my mashing skills are sick and i didnt waste any time doing pointless healing. taking a break now and moving on to the No Major Glitches category next which is WAY more fun. :)

the boss will attack at least 4 times, sometimes up to 8 times, so this one was pretty average. if you got a good boss fight, probably another second or two at most? :P

How do you do the jump in 7:09?
it's patched in the current version of the game but if you ran and held crouch to slide off a ledge you could do the drill move twice and then jump when you hit the invisible wall over the fence.
Is the bug still achieved or is it patched? I already discovered the Tower skip glitch after trying it a lot. I'm trying to look through possible glitches cause I beat the game for the first time, the towers just made me feel better with the moves.

oh in the first area? they patched it out lol there was a hole in the corner you could swim out of

this was on 1.006. everything except the air swim clip at the end is patched. there's an easy guide to downpatch in the discord tho. check the speedrun.com leaderboard

How the hell come I never heard of this game, the character models are so original and the animation is fluid. (There’s other things I wanna mention like the OST but I’d just go on a rant.) Can someone tell me a good N64 emulator and I’ll be on my way to find this game ASAP Ps: I am restarted and didn't do my research and uhh didn't know this game is a new game in the style of n64
its actually a regular game on steam. it was only made in the style of a nintendo 64 :P
I made a little search and yep you were right lmao, I deceived myself into thinking this was lost media, that this was an N64 title and that this WAS a LOST MEDIA GAME.
There's also some other games too, like Pseudoregalia and Cavern of Dreams. There's also Winds of Basidia to look forward to.

sorry, i mean after you finish Nicholson house you drive thru the mountain and fall back into the road, how do you not get stuck on the crates when falling or where should I aim to fall off for? I always get stuck on either the crates or the tiny bump before the jump off
