Toro Leafblower Plug Repair Tips and Hacks
Here is how I rigged a Toro Electric plug in Leafblower with a new wire. The donor wire was from a long gone computer that I scavenged. The unit is self grounded does not have a ground wire so only the 2 power wires need soldering.

Garage Door Bottom Seal replacement installation, Frost King slide on, 3M Amazon nail on
Переглядів 2,6 тис.2 роки тому
Here is a quick video on what to expect when you put on a new rubber garage door bottom seal. Mine were damaged by mice or other critters and old age. I got a Frost King slide on from the home center and a 3M nail on from Amazon. Home centers did not have the hard rubber nail on seal I wanted, only a spongy one that mice could chew through easily.?? Enjoy.

It's great that you show that it's capable of nipping right though those materials, but you're not showing to open the cutting bit after you use the tool. My question is, how do you release the cutting blade for another cut. I was able to make a cut on a piece of PVC water pipe, but I'm having a bit of a struggle with getting the tool to open. Can you please show how you do so, because it's not shown in the video. Thank you Mate. 👍

I found solid maple doors with a raised panel AND they fit my cabinets. Looks like I only need to sand down the raised part!
Great job
What be causing this to happen??? Happened to me today when I was riding my bike 😔
How did you connect it on the bottom ?
Horrible music. 😑 Thank you for the videos.
Thank you for your videos. ( The music is stressful though)
I'm hoping to figure this out without creating any further damage the Super Sport Bike, Aspen 21 Speed was a gift. I have not ridden as of yet, but I'm look forward to zooming soon thanks to this video.
I sprayed WD40 all over the back of the wheel hoping to get rid of some noise, and the wheel will no longer turn after about 3 days. I didn't remove the nuts or anything, I just usd the 2 wrench and tighten it up, it works now!!! So glad I found this video.
NIce job! That looks really cool!
I'm glad you like it
9 likes! Great video! New sub here!
Tks buddy, got ya back!
Can't wait to friggin try this on Saturday.
All the best buddy! Hope it helps
I should've learned how to read.
just what i need, a repairman who dont read. maybe thats why you have a bike and not a car like everybody else
Thank you for this !
My pleasure!
Thank you. Spent over $3000 last year for a whole new bed frame mattress and the salesman was adamant that I had to have this 2” bumper board box spring. The bed has never sounded like a $3000 setup, more like a $3 set up. I’m going to try this ASAP!!! I am on the verge of burning the box spring and replacing with 2 layers of 1/4” or 1/2” plywood
right idea my friend. Dont take a salesman's advice! might be cardboard in there. Rock on!
"no name product" aka cheap-o harbor freight socket wrench.
Many junk tools from all over, but most from the orient. Stay cool!
I had 2, both switching knobs broken, coz it's stuck my mistake iv'e forced it, can it be fixed?
sounds like a problem. plastic knob probly no. but metal?
I hate that I know what life was like before the internet
Great idea, will try this! Thanks!
Hope you like it! good luck sir!
On the nail on method: Will water leak into the gap between the bottom of the garage and rubber? I
Well maybe so if the weather can beat down on it. If it is exposed, the wood door will suffer. A metal or fiberglass door will not mind. Do they even make wood Garage doors any more?
@@teddidit6088 I have an old wooden door, not sure if they still make them. Do you recommend caulking that gap b/w the bottom of the door and rubber? I just bought a pack of the bottom seal from Amazon.
So cool!!
Thank you Lisa!
I just did this on an 3/8'' drive unbranded Taiwan ratchet almost identical to this one that I got at a yard sale for a dollar. Still has a lot of life left on it & it's actually one of my favorite ratchets.
glad to help. Happy wrenching BR
Did that on my solid front door but now i need to replace my storm door got one off FB but need to cut 4" off on the width!! Any suggestions?? Door fram is a 32" but new storm door is a 36".. or should i just find a 32" storm door??
Wow DS that is a hot mess...Wish I was there to see. but maybe cut with a guide made from a piece of wood or a harbor freight thing,.. . what do you have to loose. GO FOR THE GLORY!!!
@@teddidit6088 I think I'm just going add on to the existing frame... But I will let u know how it works out.. 🤞😁
They felts like crap in hand and broke any time I used some force, total trash..
oh well. thats life. go to lowes. they will be thrilled to help u.
does anyone see wich kind of spray hes using after he removed the sticky stuff?
do you mean spray paint? if so just 1 buck walmart brand.
Great video!! I will try this on my old Craftsman socket wrench, I've been wondering what to do with... I really dig the music, nice guitar parts!!!
Thanks for the comment! Glad to help. Pls subscribe if it helped you more someday...👍 It is Utube music but dont know who. Too long ago
Steel wool (brillo) pad either dry or only slightly damp worked excellent. Then wipe with iso alcohol and clean cloth if needed.
Well done man! Will try on my next one!!!
It will cut
YES IT WILL MIKE D
Thanks Sir. This is the only disassembe video that shows how to remove a spring retainer. All other videos are showing how to disassemble the bolt from high quality ratchets. Appreciated!
Glad to be of help sir! Pls pubscribe if you didnt already... cant tell...I could use more intelligent comments here
No problem, while working for Sears years ago, I purchased a whole bunch of rebuild kits for my ratchets.
Nice move there MD. Glad to be of help sir! Pls subscribe if you didnt already... cant tell...I could use more intelligent comments here
I've recently replaced about four of these bringing them to Lowes. I also have a long swivel head ratchet along with about three more of these that you were working on here. I might take two of those and do what you did to have them original and may be worth some money at some point. They're all from the 80s would I noticed between the new and the old is probably about fifty more teeth in the new one. And the fact that they actually twist. It is a damn shame that Craftsman could not make it work in America where they built an entire factory to make American tools and not 1 tool ever came out of that newly built factory. Total waste!
Didnt know that JW! Pls subscribe if you didnt already... cant tell...I could use more intelligent comments here
I have always taken these apart, its a lifesaver for the old tools to keep them clean. the new ones arent near as good
Amen to that SGT! Pls subscribe if you didnt already... cant tell...I could use more intelligent comments here

I was a bicycle mechanic for twenty-six years, and it often surprised me (though it shouldn't have) how much function can be restored to a mechanism simply by cleaning and lubricating.
Yes Sir! You have words of wisdom for all us Peddlers! Stay well & pls share your comments on any other videos!
Thank You, solved my problem!
You are welcome! Pls sub if you didnt already!
Thank you. Nice job!!
Glad it was helpful!
Good I have one of those more than 40 yrs old and set of a smaller one.
Yup they are great. Wish my craftsman mower was as good. Tks FJP
Not sure if grease is the answer I have two of those and one has a oiler port on top and one doesn’t have both where trash can pickups a good cleaning and both are good to go
Yup they are great. Wish my craftsman mower was as good. Tks HM.
This wins my YT Best Video of the Day award. Have the same exact wrench with the same exact problem. Followed you advice and the socket works like new. No PB Blaster but WD40 works just as well. Thanks so much for passing this tip along.
Right on Phil! I am honored with the award. Wish my craftsman mower was as good.
Bring it to any Lowes and they will replace it with a new wrench
Sounds like a plan . Tks.
needs twice as many teeth to be useful
thats what she said....
Some of the real old ratchets have a little ball valve near the quick release button that you lube it through there.
Amazing Red! Tks for the tip!
Probably could have used some grease in there a long time ago or at least spray something in there or drop in in oil
u got dat rite sir! a little lube is good all around...........
Hand sanitizer works great
yessir its got alcohol in there too. Good one!
That's a good idea but some surfaces you can't scrape so another good option is use eucalyptus oil it's a natural sap oil from Australian Eucalyptus trees . It also strips off that sticky layer when plastic surfaces deteriorate . I saved my $400 prescription RayBan's because the arms were going all sticky even the optometrist could not fix them . Eucalyptus oil fixed it right up . Scrub vigorously with cue tips and soft cloths soaked with the oil and the original smooth surface reappears like magic . It's a natural product and not toxic externally . Just don't drink it .
Wow JV that is so cool! If I can find that stuff I will try it. Why not make a video of the process.... Great comment pls subscribe. Alas my channel could use more comments like This!!
your suggestion of Eucalyptus oil worked amazingly well... thank u
This saved my "night Stick" flashlight from the trash. Couldn't touch it without getting that sticky stuff all over my hands. This really worked. Thank you.
Wow TM nice job.Yes I got a few flashlites that are like that too . Why not make a video of the process.... Great comment pls subscribe. My channel could use more smart comments like This!!
Interesting. I have lots of different solvents about the place. It would never of occurred to me to try mouthwash. I have used talcum powder and IPA before on these rubberised coatings. I've heard that the slimy breakdown coating is chemically similar to transmission fluid. I wish manufacturers would desist from using these coatings if they aren't chemically stable, though they do have a vested interest in trying to sell more products. I tend to avoid products with these rubberised coatings now.
Interesting! Yes this rubbery stuff don't last. If it is on a Nice camera or other device I would be angry to say the least. Anything with alcohol will probably remove it, but hate to waste a nice vodka on it... Cheers my friend! Pls consider subscribing, I could use more inciteful comments on my other videos!!!
