Gregory Brandt is a writer and high school teacher in Hawaii who tells nonfiction stories about his life. Gregory has made 100's of unique UA-cam videos using hundreds of visual images timed with his storytelling. He has read his stories and monologues for an NPR affiliate in Austin, Texas.

Despite dropping out of High School, Brandt graduated from the University of Texas in Austin in May of 2010 with a degree in print journalism.

Gregory Brandt's first book is a quick and compelling summary of a 15 year period of his life. "Gonzo Education" is the true story which begins when he drops out of high school and ends when he graduates from one of the United States' top public universities.

Brandt spent years homeless, including the time he was in college.
