Since we are traveling with a little baby, we chose to stay at ryokan (Japanese style inn). We enjoyed Japanese kaiseki ryori (traditional Japanese multi-course food) and onsen. Ryokan food was definitely a highlight of the trip, it...

This vlog was filmed in May during the Golden Week holiday in Japan. It’s a third time me and my husband visited Okinawa, but the first time we traveled around by car, so we had a chance to travel all across the island and see more places. Sadly it was raining most of the time and we couldn’t fully enjoy those amazing white sand beaches. See my vlog to find out where you can go in Okinawa in a ...

How do you make a reservation at the Himi fish market?
Thanks you very much, i take some of clothes there and it was like you said 🙏🏻
Hey, what month is this?
Where exactly in omiy is the tori gates please? is it walking distance from omiya station?
Hi, awesome video. What is the name or the address of this kimono store please?
What a charming vlog! I'd like to know where you bought the fresh fish sashimi from at around the 6:50 mark. Would you recommend buying from the place you did? I watch so many of these Ishigaki vlogs but so far nobody has reviewed (in English/or with available subtitles) places to buy takeaway seafood & sashimi platters. I'd love to know where the best places are to buy sashimi etc to take out and eat in our hotel room as not all places are created equal, ha. Also, some places may look poor quality and commercial but can offer some surprising quality for the price you pay. What do you think?
I'd be in heaven there! 😍
May i know where's the specific beach that you visited at Zushi? so amazed by the view + the romantic spot for sunset! I'm going to Kanagawa next month! Thank you so much!
Hi! This place is called Koisonohana (小磯の鼻) its close to Isshiki Beach (一色海岸).
Loving this tour!!
Thank you for showing Muroran. I had no idea how it was. We are going there on october. What month was this. You are crazy people walking in that snowing time!!!😅
Ishigaki beaches have the most astonishingly calm waters. No crashing waves, just gently undulating crystal clear waters, it's unbelievable. Shame about the trash on the beaches washing up from China. Also, the illustrated frightening signs on every isolated beach depicting a veritable cornucopia of deadly marine life combined with no lifeguards on duty are most off putting. That being said, I've never heard first hand about a snorkeler or swimmer getting caught up in much warned about rip tides (nor are the dreaded Habu jellyfish/Man-o-war jellyfish common out of peak season). Water snakes are rare and mind their own business anyway down near the ocean floor. That being said, it is a real downer to have to be so vigilant and anxious when swimming, never knowing if you will be that '1 in a 1,000' person getting a dose of deadly neurotoxin that day. No lifeguards though, now that's a concern. I don't drive-- my husband is the driver and if he were to get struck down, even unable to help me read the GPS system, I have absolutely no idea how I'd get us from Yonehara beach to the main hospital down south. I wish the local government could afford to place lifeguard stations at every popular, well loved beach. A genuine shame. These same lifeguards could alternate doing trash picking too, giving valuable paying work to young people on the island. Any thoughts?
Thanks for the video. I was thinking to rent an apartment in Zushi or Kamakura between July and August, just to chill there and do day trips in the Tokyo area. Do you think they're good places for this? I also love trekking and very quiet places, yet closer to bigger areas (for example, spend the night in Tokyo to go clubbing).
What month did you go? October? I will be visiting hopefully to catch autumn foliage first two weeks of October this year
Hi! We visited there in early November. I'm afraid first weeks of October are too early for autumn foliage 😢 though Nikko is beautiful in any season, i hope you will enjoy your visit!
I loved
5:55 > Tea house? Yes, it is. ua-cam.com/video/P5iLaK0QgVQ/v-deo.html
So ridiculous that the male chased away the poor ducks that were resting/ crossing. Such selfish and inconsiderate behaviour; spoiling the experience for everyone else
I went to the Tenrikyo church in France, just outside Paris, a few times. The feeling of community there was great, I felt a sense of peacefulness there. The church members all ate together after the service in the food hall. Everyone made me feel very welcome, I made friends there. I was told about Tenri and have since always wanted to visit it. I am now living back in my own country (UK), there is a Tenrikyo church in the capital city, London, but I live far away from the capital, it's a pity. If there was a Tenrikyo church nearby I would most certainly be a regular attendee. It was good to see your video. Thank you.
Would you pls send me the address of this store in Tokyo? Thanks so much. I loved your video. ❤
Thank for sharing your nice video. Maebashi seems to be a lovely and quiet place, love that kind of city in Japan. I lived in Tokyo but I cannot stand the noise anymore
Thank you for sharing your experience. It feels so real and personal almost makes me feel like I was traveling with you and your family. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much for watching ☺️ I’m so happy to hear that you liked it, this inspires me to create more!
Lovely views and cute kid. It's a shame to only spend one day at the house. I can tell you from my experience that living out in the countryside is like living in the city: there are benefits but also drawbacks. I prefer to have time in both places. Too long in one makes me miss the other.
Thank you for your comment! That’s what i was thinking too 😄 i would definitely miss benefits of living in the city if i move to the countryside, but every time i stay in this kind of house i feel like my soul is being healed and i just don’t want to go back😂❤️🩹
Nikko is famously with vegetarian/vegan meal . ❤ I stay 3 days in Nikko on autumn October 2022 when Japan re open , this is a majestic place in Japan . Then I’m back to Nikko on May 2023 with my wife , we both fall in love with Nikko and talk about retired here but the government only issue tourist visa 90 days for Australia made it hard for retirees like us who want to retired in japan .
Thank you for your comment! Yes, Nikko is amazing, I’m definitely going there again this year 🥹💚
Hello! I’m wondering what month did you go with all the snow?
Hi! We went in the end of December and there was so much snow that time. However i feel like winter this year is much warmer..
Thank you very much for the sharing. I was looking for quiter cities in Japan and found out Zushi, your vlog finished to convinced me to take a look there. Hope you still are happy living in Japan with your husband and dog.
Thank you for your comment! Zushi is a very lovely place, i like its city-by-the-sea vibe, so different from Tokyo. However my husband really hates driving around there because streets are very narrow and crowded 😅 but except for that Zushi is a great city!
First minute into the video... gosh I am in love with those eyes 🤩
Do you know if the Kimono shop sells online too? Or do you have any suggestions for such beautiful, cheap online stores?
Hi! Thank you for your question! Unfortunately, this shop doesn't sell online. I personally don't have any experience buying kimono online, but maybe you can look at this website, it seems like they have a very wide range of vintage kimono: www.kimonoya-japan.net
My,yo!thanks, superb ! see you later~💫
Hi, I have a question. I know it was years ago but did they speak any English at all? Was it just singing or talking was involved? thanks!
Hi! Thank you for your question. The whole musical including songs and dialogs are in Japanese language.
Where is this shop
Hi! It’s a chain second hand store called King Family and they have few locations around Tokyo. You can search them on google map by typing King Family. The one i went was in Warabi (Saitama).
Very beautiful. Can the author says to which country she belong?
I didn’t know Nikko was this beautiful. You were right, it’s Beauty stands out even in rainy weather. Looks so romantic! Thanks for showcasing this, babe👍
So glad I chanced upon your video while browsing Karuizawa vlogs. I am planning to spend a chill afternoon in Karuizawa and that place where you had dinner is so beautiful that makes me want to visit it. Is the restaurant near the train station? In case you might have an idea, will you recommend visiting the place if we will be going back to Tokyo after? Thank you :)
Shiba Inu is the best!
Thanks for sharing! Looks amazing. How did you get to Gahi island? Would like to go there as well on my visit to Zamami but not sure how to get there
An absolutely lovely video! I've subbed to explore more... Japan is on my dream list 🩷
Thank you 😊 I hope you can visit Japan one day! ✨
What would be a big dog? I am considering taking mine to Japan but don’t know about the acceptance
My religion is Tenrikyo, really love that you enjoyed Tenri!
Hi, do you mind sharing the name of the kimono shop in Tokyo or adding a link to the store?

amazing temple ! so elegant
My best friend, Great... We liked and enjoyed to the end. Thanks Have a happy day! Keep it up! +thumb up3!
Can vintage like 20s 30s kimonos be machine embroidered?!
Hi! I think most of the cheap kimonos are machine embroidered. Those embroidered by hand cost very expensive 🤔
Thankyou for this leisure walking tour (vicarious for me) of beautiful Okutama... The clips that you took are exavctly what I would take when I would stop, enjoy and appreciate if I was there. The beautiful autumn scenerey, the simple houses, the cute monkeys... gives you a sense of what the Japanese people enjoy in this isolated place away... not far away from busy metropolitan Tokyo.
Thank you so much! Im glad you liked it ☺️
I’m going next month!
what is the restaurant’s name ?
It is possible just in 1 day to travel whole oze park?
no absolutely impossible, the park is massive. You would need to either camp or stay at a lodge inside of national park
These are the most beautiful pictures I have ever seen of Japan ,in particular the snow in the park ! Thank you ❤ Everything ! In Japan is beautiful! But this captures it on UA-cam.
Thank you so much, Marta! 😊
Nice video o(^_^)o I’m so happy you visit omits
🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼 lowe from Turkiye
I studied there in 2020 also as an exchange student. Time flies! Thanks for this video 💜
Do you think 4,5 days in Karuizawa is too long? Look for a town this summer where I can just bum around, read books..watch people.
hi! If you are planning to take it slow and relax, then probably 4.5 days will be fine. There are a lot of nice hotels to stay and enjoy onsen and some nice cafes and restaurants around. Also, if you are interested, there is a huge outlet mall:)
@@My_Japan_Days Thanks!
