Just done mine, and all i did was (with a magnifying glass, and my specs on) pop the lugs back in their respective holes, then put a blob of "Blu-Tac" in the empty case/half, and lower it down slowly/carefully on to the battery back, and press closed, as the "Blu-Tac" squashes slowly, it pushes the contacts together, and Voila 🤫

In the cabin fusebox, under the dash. It's part of the fusebox, but it can be removed with connectors. It controls many thing(correct me if i left out something): -Interior lights turning on-off and dimming(signal from door switches) -Dashboard lights dimming(signal from main lightswitch), -Turnsignals and hazzard warning light -Front and rear windscreen wipers -Rear windscreen defogger -Front and rear fog lights -Door and key warning chime For the dimmable lights, the power circuitry is in the multitimer module(2 Fets, i beleive), other peripherals are controlled via the small black relays.

Cycling the keys is contraproductive because the ECM will glow the plugs for 11 seconds and than that's it and it won't glow another time to let the plugs cook down and make them not overheat

Hi, The solder wire diameter is quite excessive for the job (but it has resin in it, does it not? - a must). This is a delicate job, the vacuum pump removal of old solder is essential prior to reconnecting, cleaning the clear joint points prior to soldering (with alcohol or better, yet "FLUXCLENE") to remove remainder of the resin is also highly recommended before removing and after fitting. It makes the difference between just ONE and THREE goes at it. This a good guide about what does need to be done to fix the KEY to the car and thank you for it; it is just not a guide about how to solder. BTW - that soldering iron seems to be running to cold to do the job and battery should be removed prior to de - and re- soldering. The solder tip cleaning wet sponge is not visible or not used - quite typical of cold tips. The job followed with a thin spray of protective PCB lacquer (for protection) would be a charm added to the job. A clear statement of your limited capability in soldering would be helpful to unlucky soldering "technique" followers. Cheers .

Człowieku, baterię się wyjmuje do lutowania! Poza tym użyj troszkę kalafoni to będzie się łatwiej lutować. To że cyna jest z kalafonią to może być za mało więc dobrze jest dodać osobno.

Hi, I had the same problem and found it easier to solder in two extending wires for "+" and "-". Everything went OK but now LED on a key is blinking - have to resync it with a car - and it just will not. I know the procedure, have had done it before, but now it just won't sync with the car. Do you have any suggestions? Does it lose programming capabilities when battery is disconnected for few months?
