2024 comrades marathon was my first one and i can't wait for a down run next year

The closest I have come to finishing this, basically running out of legs and time at the foot of Polly's. Unlike 2017 where I had no idea what I was doing and 2018 where I cried upon stopping just after the Winston Park cutoff, 2019 I was at the very least proud of entering uncharted territory not having run as far ever. With injury meaning 2022 was a DNQ, I'm more determined than ever to be there for the 2023 start.

We were there - Up Run 2019 (9:20).

I remember this day very well, lined up the very first time, and completed the race 10h48 later, wow it was an awesome feeling still have goosebumps when I think about it... Thank you Comrades Marathon Association
