Bringing the Serve Out Again
Переглядів 2262 місяці тому
First legitimate serve practice since April. Muscle memory is interesting here, plus I’m hitting used/dead balls. Don’t hate! Also trialing with a new toss starting position a little lower and separate from the racket…

As a leftie, I agree!
And you normally have the advantage!
What is the white building surrounding half the court? It almost looks like a parking garage.
Haha yeah, it is a parking garage! This is a court at a condo building
Making future financial decisions based on this video from now on
This is gold
how well /accurate is that swing shot?
It's all over the place haha. It's really just a directional tool for me and I don't rely on it
None of the swing vision speeds are accurate. pretty embarassing
Yup - and then they tell me it’s because I didn’t set the camera up properly 😂
Happy New Year! Great court and great hitting!
Happy New Year, good sir!
welcome 2 the bay jeff
My home court! Hope you had fun
Do you use any tripod or stand for the camera? because it looks amazing.
I usually use a fence mount/pole that attaches to the top of the fence, but it doesn't work for all types of courts. So I occasionally will use a mount that fits lower in the fence and is a true "court-level" view but doesn't work well with the SwingVision app (the three videos published just before this one were recorded that way instead). I'm glad you like the setup! Nobody is stopping you from also subscribing to see more in the future 😉😜
hard to see how you stayed on your feet out there jeff
true tennis sicko 🖖
The ball flight from the wind was crazy 🤣
So bad! The wind direction kept changing and swirling. I feel like this session didn't even count as actual tennis and I hope to forget this hit very soon haha
Your good at tennis although I would still cook you
You're good at Fortnite although I would still work you with a Primal Pistol (Google said that was the worst weapon in the game lol)
@@JeffCohnTennis Lol 😂
cool vid man
Ethan who is the first singles on rosyln just got into villonova tennis
It's great to keep seeing a strong level come out of Long Island!
Wow! This is awesome! Is it easy to book these courts?
Yes, surprisingly easy and straightforward to reserve! At least in the off-season
@@JeffCohnTennis how much do they cost?
@@uhhmmm-g8c $40/hr total
@@JeffCohnTennis dang
@JeffCohnTennis, can I book the Arthur Ashe Stadium? the main stadium. How much is an hour? Planning to visit NYC next summer. How do I find a hitting partner there?
That was a fun hit, great meeting you man!
The GOAT himself! Thanks - likewise!
The only pickleball video I'll happily watch 0:48 is crazy hahaha
One pickleball session a year is my maximum allowance! 😂
Nice hitting in those weather conditions!
Is he back???
4 utr?
Haha, yup - but UTR ratings can be very deceiving...AKA I haven't played a real tournament match in 9 years. Probably closer to 8-9 UTR.
the king is back. forehands still looking explosive
Welcome back!
Thanks for sharing. Wow 37 shot rally. And these guys are in the Challengers. Shows how good and tough the ATP Tour is.
It's crazy to think these guys wouldnt take a set of top players
@TheTdg97 the level difference is not that big so a player around 200-300 could take a set against a top player. They just can't do it consistently
Wow!
What a nice video! Thanks
Thanks a lot. This is quite nice.
Holy moly!! niceeeee
Десяток таких розыгрышей и твой соперник в ауте физически 😅
Совершенно верно 😂
Suresh has proper game . What do you think his ceiling is js ?
He just beat the world # 337 yesterday in straights. I'd think he can reach top 200 but not sure from there. His movement and backhand are areas to improve. But the way he keeps people pinned in the backhand corner with his smooth inside-out forehand is pretty unique because he kind of just shovels it with good pace and doesn't ever miss it - I think it can be effective against most players
Following up: He also just beat Top 30 doubles guys today. If he never makes it in singles, he could still be great in doubles
Unblockxable forehand to end the point!
If you have a great feel on your forehand slice, it is blockable, but I think by that time, his opponent had weak legs and lungs, which is more than understandable
Doesn’t help that he swung so fast
thats intensity right there
Blockx sounds like Zverev! 😂
As a lefty I want Ricoon’s forehand
absolute rockets Jeff
My videos mean nothing without an AllanTennis endorsement
Blockx forehand is brutal
The 2hbh = terrible. That’s the women’s game.
Lmao they are still way better than u can ever be
@@Boltthepro that’s your opinion. My natural 1hbh was rated a 6.0-7.0. People literally stopped to watch it. Todays 2hbh players play the women’s game. Exact same.
@@TimTheMusicMandude can u beat these guys? If not stop shitting on their form
@@TimTheMusicMan noone asked you - stfu!
@@TimTheMusicManmy ass. What’s ur name I’ll search up ur utr. Ur gonna prob be a 2 💀💀💀💀
haha I love the far side dude's look at close side as a show of respect
So smooth! 🔥
The practice doesn’t stop 😤
😩
Sick backhand!
I assume that must have been the US Open qualies!
Looking good bro!!!😎
Looking like Tennys Sandgren out there Jeff. Make sure you give your wrist some rest though haha
Great footwork! Especially your feet moving forward💪
Damn Jeff, someone of those forehands were absolute rockets
That’s the goal! Also need to find the right balance between rocket mode and junkball mode in order to fluster my opponents!
agreed Allan!
Nice
Reminds me of where the Challengers movie tournament was filmed
yeah it’s in new york
