You don't ever report anything that is important to Ham radio. Only 3 adds for 15 seconds. Years ago it was a 30-minute show. Now, not so much at all.. The show is getting very weak.... Step it up make it longer....

It's the 29th today, but apparently news from the 31. Would be much more helpful if you could tell us the Nasdaq and Dow levels on the 31, would allow many of us to make enough buckaroos that we can buy some fancy new radio gear.

A technical point, ua-cam.com/video/KPV048idfpw/v-deo.html states "triangulate", a term which is so often used incorrectly in radio. The correct term is 'trilaterate', meaning to locate by distance difference, which in this case is the time difference of arrival of a signal. With only two receivers, you will have a line (hyperbola) of potential source positions, rather than a point. One or more additional satellites will allow for unambiguous source location. You can imagine this as 'inverse Loran'. KC6UPS

The Ghost Army was a ploy to make the Germans believe General Patton was going to lead the invasion at the Pas-de-Calais and to keep the 15th Panzer Division there and not be used at the real invasion which would take place at Normandy. The Germans fell for the entire thing hook, line, and sinker. General Bradley led the D-Day invasion, and Patton would arrive approximately a month after D-Day. The funny part is that Patton was living 'rent free' in the Germans' heads.

If they pass the Pennsylvania bill, hams should boycott emergency service until they relent.

NASA led the project, it was designed at NASA Goddard and Johns Hopkins University, it was built by US contractor Northrup Grumman, and it was named after a former NASA Administrator. Kind of hard to overlook the obvious. Yes, CSA and ESA were partners in design, and it launched from Guyana, but to call this a CSA/ESA project is falling flat on your fact-checking face.
