classic Pakistani technology. again, everything is shabby, the wires hang like snot on the walls, the canopy is like a garbage bag. two poor fellows with wire cutters - it is quite possible to put a guillotine, as primitive as rollers and save a lot of effort and time for cutting. they write that these cables are brought from somewhere - this is not the case, recycling is in all normal countries, it often looks almost the same. but manufacturing is something else entirely. the wire must comply with the standard, and this applies primarily not just to bare wires for suspension, but to high-voltage cables for underground laying.

That poor kid at the start, within a couple of years he'll be less some fingers and well on the way to lung disease and deafness.

To be honest, from the many videos of such factories, I expected the electronics part to be awful, but the soldering looks actually half decent. They even use thermal paste under those leds, so no issues there. Probably power supply or led are set to overdrive and will last for 3 months, but that's almost expected from electronics these days.

I've seen how electrical wire is made properly, and this is definitely NOT it. I guess they've never heard of quality control, e.g. testing the consistency of the insulation thickness, checking the conductor/insulator concentricity, carrying out an HV spark test to detect pinhole defects in the insulation etc. About all this wire is fit for is baling - I certainly wouldn't trust it as a safe electrical conductor.
