The big issue. Who even wrote the gospels. There are over 90 gospels and only 4 were chosen. Why discard all the other gospels. Cherry picked writings to fit a narrative is what the NT is. Excellent lecture on how reliable the evidence for the Resurrection is. Makes me wonder for how the supposedly Scholarly critics would, or rather could respond to this, without also appearing to be a highly educated prejudiced fool. Biased Prejudices are very powerful though, and I’ve read, and have had personal experiences, that the longer someone has believed something that wasn’t true, it is very difficult for them to change their mind, and no matter how profound and convincing the challenging evidence. But in my opinion only, I don’t believe it shouldn’t be that difficult for people of integrity, who really prefer knowing what’s true, even if the truth hurts. And so after having said that, I was surprised after viewing a recent video on UA-cam, and considering the enormous amount of profound evidence that’s been compiled on the authenticity of the Shroud of Turin, I was amazed that this same man, who also gave some of the compelling evidence for the authenticity of the Shroud being the burial garment of Jesus Christ, and yet somehow, gave a final assessment, of being a somewhat skeptical agnostic on it validity. Seems kinda like a paradox.

Strange since he was famous at birth, because wise men expected to see the future king of Jews who was born from a virgin married mother. Every leading Christian scholar since Erasmus, five hundred years ago, has maintained that the gospels were originally written in Greek from 70 to 140 CE (Mark after the year 70, Luke about 110, Matthew about 130, and John no earlier than 140 CE). This proves that they were not written by Christ's apostles, disciples or by any of the early Christians. Others say: “There is no proof of the Gospels existing before 130 CE” Jesus is depicted as hugely popular in the gospels. Yet he is unrecorded by non-Biblical historians. Paul was the first one to write about Jesus around 60CE; but he, like everyone else, never saw Jesus. He experienced a vision of the resurrected Jesus. Even Paul’s existence is in serious doubt. John Gresham Machen wrote: The establishment of Christianity as a world religion, to almost as great an extent as any great historical movement can be ascribed to one man, was the work of Paul. I also read that the history of the first three popes was invented because they never existed. All myth! Seek the truth!

Gary Habermas is an interesting person. He seems to me conviently lacking in knowledge of the hard sciences and prefers mystère and magique of theology. Sure I have my biases thats why I believe in evidence that helps one survive and not just in an economic way Gary Habermas is not an electrician or a blacksmith because wouldn't get enough money of fame doing work that required hard evidence. He choses mystère magique where the probabilities of being demonstrated incorrect in his lifetime are small, and the probability of the resurection so small you can't calculate the probability of correctness of the proposition which rests behind trillions of zeros. Let's face it, the probability is that the gospels were written under the tutorlidge of intellectual Roman and Jewish Scholars with a strong pysycho-political motives for change in the order of events, for Rome primary and their close neighbours secondary, was a real initiative and it worked. Gary who wrote the gospels and who or what inspired them to be written in Greek and why. Which ordinary people in Rome and Palestinian spoke or read Greek? The control of people could largely achieved by a theological psychology, using cognitive dissonance as a practical means. Open your mind Gary and try a few verities for a change, based on evidence and not magic.
