I’ll never thought of wedding photography I was asked once to do one scared the living daylights out of me, however I turned it down at that time I was still in my early stages of shooting.

Good info man, love that I found someone who's making content specifically for wedding photo/video pros! Constructive criticism though, your pacing makes sense for a podcast format, but for UA-cam it just moves wayyyy too slow. It takes a full 4 minutes for me the viewer to actually get what I was looking for when I clicked on your thumbnail, which is way too long ideally that would happen in 30 seconds. But, the actual content of the video is great and you have some real value here. Cheers man, can't wait to see this thing grow!

This was a great no bs advice podcast. 2024 has been slow for me too. People are struggling financially right now and a nice wedding is not in the cards for most middle class people right now. Hope the economy clears up soon

Thoughts on Google ads? I spent a lot of money with them and didn't get one booking from 6 months advertising.

I have my branding set up where my homepage is all of my wedding photos and have a gallery in the backend of my site for my event and family work. My style is the same for all genres so it looks consistent. I want people to see me as an artist and not necessarily just a wedding photographer.

So many good nuggets of information. I am in the getting more leads and clients stage but I have a great website, my branding is set up and solid portfolio. Marketing is my weak link. Should I be starting from the beginning 0-5000 plan?

Why not target engaged couples opposed to targeting a broad audience?

I struggle so bad with this because it seems like so many HATE phone calls or anything involving the idea of a call. I stopped including call verbiage on my response because this new generation is just text or email happy.

One correction, though: Andrew Huberman mentions that morning sunlight increases not only cortisol but dopamine too (the latter is responsible for a good mood, productivity, and motivation).
