Lovely and amazing resort

Although we have never done an ocean cruise (we have done river cruises), we hope to take our first ocean cruise in next couple or so years. I know Explora is not cheap, but it looks top quality and certainly is on our “radar”. I was particularly alert to your comment about the lack of any obvious movement/motion. My wife suffered bad sea sickness on ferry journeys in 1990s, so ocean cruises has been a no-no since then. She been fine on river cruises and (finally) is prepared to consider an ocean cruise. Thanks for this very informative video.

i dined at Topos last week fot July4th weekend, completely underwhelming service and food experience. servers totally disengaged and the food was mediocre at best. the resort itself was just ok, for the price the charge $500 a night, the experience should be better. housekeeping left my door open in my room, the day i spoke to complaint about the lack of service in the restaurant, i was told they were short staff. i got no compensation for mediocre food and lack of service. i would not recommend this hotel at all. the beach side restaurant is currently closed down, so there is no service at the beach chairs on the beach front area. seems like a good idea to book this hotel but, after spending 3 days there, i was ready to leave. the way they want to fix everything is by asking you if you want free drinks at the bar?? really?
