    I might suggest that you send some of these to Ukraine and maybe fit them with a way to air launch and control loitering light weight, man portable munitions such as Switchblades, e.g. see ua-cam.com/video/tN2HN6ra4nw/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/h5TTaNpQuWI/v-deo.html Carry four 600's and one can take out a whole platoon of Russian tanks while never staying ten miles away from them or employ the 300's to interdict supply columns. This combination could be a further game changer by vastly extending their range of employment!

      @@billyboblillybob344 Like Hawk 5, they needed to come to Serbia, for example, and sign a contract with a company like Utva and produce quality and cheap. Too bad, but business is something completely different from engineering.

      @@JoeMicalizziMPC Affordability is the key idea. I used 3 million simply because the .4% can afford it at that price. But, if they were $300k each (another relatively random number), the numbers of sales would be dramatically increased in my opinion.

    How is the rotor powered? I don't see a tail rotor to counteract torque

      Unlike a helicopter, a gyrocraft rotor is non-powered during normal flight. There is no torque between the rotor and fuselage, so no tail rotor is required.

      The rotor is in constant autorotation. Like a propeller toy spins as it falls through the air, the rotor here is always being pulled through the air, creating a parachute or hang glider effect.

      @@gormauslander Historically, ways to get that rotor to spin up for vertical take off involved wingtip rockets. Considering there's no smoke on the rotor, I believe what they're doing is some sort of system that temporarily connects the engine to the rotor, and spinning it up while the pitch is kept to zero. This way, since the craft is still on the ground and there's no lift being generated, torque is controlled and drag kept to a minimum. Once takeoff speed is reached, the engine and rotor are disconnected, and the rotor pitch tilted for lift, trading rotor speed for height. Then the pusher prop goes off and sustains the rotor through auto-rotation.

    Does not need a runway uses up to 600% less fuel than a Helicopter can be used for fire fighting, can be used by the armed forces cheap flights for Holidaymakers the list is endless this as got to be the way forward for the near future travel, would be excellent for Air Ambulance could land anywhere WELL DONE CARTER AVIATION.

    Отличный проект замутил сэр Картэр . Если решатся технические проблемы с ротором , то этот аппарат далеко перепрыгнет модель HAWK4 .
