This truly is magical. The baby robin tolerates me close to him (I think) and delights me with whisper song!
had great tits nest in our nest box this year, didnt hear the chicks for a while and when we checked all 5 were dead in the nest, fully fledged. the adults were still visiting the nest, don't understand it, very upsetting. love your videos.

One of the two dunnocks with a tumour has died. The other one is still going! I am disinfecting everything every day. On the great tits, if a parent was killed, the young would likely perish as one parent can't collect enough food. How horribly sad!

Hi Ady, this was a few weeks ago. There were two with tumours and one has died. I was very sad as she was a lovely little bird and she choose to die right by the house. I think it's Avian Pox and so I have been assiduously disinfecting all the feeding bowls and water bowls every day.

@@adyfinch2918 Yes. I should stop feeding entirely for two weeks, but I figured that because my garden is the only place locally where birds can rest, they'd still come so I am being very disciplined about the cleaning!

Poor lil peeper. I hate to say it but birds with injuries likes this tend to get predated fairly quickly. They just vanish 😞
