Sonic Youth was selected for the cover series. I took on the challenge of a 7-minute epic. It was about twice as long as the songs I usually cover. It took twice as long as usual to do the ear copying, to type the instruments, to record the song, and to revise it all...! When I cover shoegaze, the mix is the thing I pay the most attention to, This song in particular has a distinctive drum tone. The intro is the most important part of the song, so I spent a lot of time adjusting the tone until the very end. ・ 夏のシューゲイザーといえば、個人的にはRideが外せません。 （Nowhereのジャケットに引っ張られてる…？） シューガイザーをカバーする時に一番気を遣うのがmixなのですが、 特にこの曲はドラムの音色が特徴的。 イントロが曲の一番の要なので、最後まで音色の調整に時間をかけました。(ITOI Akane)
