WE MADE OUR HOME INTO WALT DISNEY WORLD!
IN THIS VIDEO: WE CONVERTED OUR ENTIRE CONDO INTO WALT DISNEY WORLD! We missed our trip to Walt Disney World this past April for my birthday, and so we decided to do what any enneagram7 mom would do, and convert our condo (all 700 square feet haha!) into our favorite lands at the Magic Kingdom- complete with a fireworks show of "Happily Ever After" projected over our homemade castle to close our night out!
We shared all the details on Instagram over at:

On my worst days, the pain travels down my legs and makes me unable to even stand up. Debilitating is the word I use. It’s awful. Birth control is helping me a lot right now but I’ve been on many birth controls over the years and they always stop working after a time. I have my first surgery scheduled for next year!

First time I felt that my pain was vindicated was when I gave birth for the first time. End stage contractions were exactly the same as period pain. Most of my labour was no where near as bad as a period!

I now know just how important it is for us to keep a symptom diary, as when I went to see the endo specialist before consenting to my surgery, I incorrectly told him that I don't experience certain symptoms he asked me about 🤦🏽‍♀

Dang! Your symptoms are pretty similar to mine😢 I've always used Piroxicam or Mefenamic acid for period cramps cos other NSAIDs didn't work. As of 5months ago, both drugs aren't effective (only relieves 20% of pain). Also, I started experiencing bad pelvic & low back pain with bloating & diarrhea from Day 12 (different from the usual one-sided ovulation pain). Shortly after it subsides, PMS takes over with similar symptoms from Day 22. I've been worried lately cos of I'm in med sch (3rd yr) which is super demanding so I plan to see an ObGyn in January.

I have back pain aside from pelvic, sometimes I can’t walk properly because the back pain would extend to my leg. There’s times I feel like fainting. And there’s time I feel my uterus is coming out of my vagina. It’s very hard to tell people the pain because they didn’t experienced it and couldn’t get me. It started when I starts having period at age 11. Now that I’m in my 50s, I’m still experiencing the pain. I was only diagnosed with adenomysosis in my 40s. Now it’s migraines and vertigo. At least now it’s been talked about. All the pain you described, I’d experienced it. Very relatable. One time I was also experiencing “PMDD”. My Dr cannot diagnose me. I researched it myself and told her.

I think I have this mine is the worst during period. I feel like something wants to fall out of me it hurts so bad at times also one night I felt like I was in labor but I wasn’t and was confused on what was going on because I wasn’t pregnant. It’s not like it hurts bad the whole time but it does badly many times. I always have diarrhea during periods and I have to pee a lot both on and off my period and I’ve been checked for a uti and don’t have one. Mines a stabbing pain when it’s the worst. My back and body hurts to and idk why but I definitely think it’s this. It makes it hard to move at times I’m so tired of this and I didn’t experience this so bad till after I had my son and idk why.

I have lower back, abdominal, hip and right thigh pain almost every day, even on days without my period. Almost 5 years ago, this kind of pain started. Went to OB, Gastro, Neuro, Internist and others. Had MRIs twice, ultrasound several times, had colonoscopy, and others. I am basically dependent on pain relievers. People around me couldn’t understand how this feels. For years, my emotions have suffered because I couldn’t get the root cause of this chronic pain. I hope to find the right Dr and meds to manage this sickness 😢

Amazing video: thank you for sharing parts of your journey many find hard to do. I’m reading all of your comments now and couldn’t help but jump in myself. I was told I had ovarian cysts since I was 12. Growing up didn’t take it too seriously and didn’t have health insurance. We were pretty poor so I had to deal with chronic pain as a young girl. Years pass by I am 28 years old now and went to the hospital repeatedly due to vomiting, cramping, diarrhea all day, nausea, extreme fatigue , food adversions, occasional bleeding, body aches, and was told that it could be a virus or food poisoning. Ugh. So frustrating. This started happening a few months ago but only a few weeks before my period and in intervals. So I’d get the same symptoms every other month! So now that I’m realizing a pattern, I am eager to go see a GN. I’ve been self diagnosing myself to see what’s going on but getting closer and closer to finding out what’s actually happening. I just hope it isn’t anything serious. 😢

Every morning when I drink my coffee and need to go 💩 I get what feels like labor pain. It’s excruciating!! 12/10 is right! I always have to run to the bath. It’s the only thing that helps. I’m in the bath as I type this. When I called to schedule with my OB/GYN they said they couldn’t get me in for three weeks. I can’t take this anymore. Same thing happened to my mom and she had a hysterectomy at 36. I’m 42 now. Calling to see if they can get me in sooner as soon as I get outta the tub. Thanks for this video!

It feels like something is trying to escape. What I would expect an infection in your body would feel like, like it’s infecting and making everything ache and cry and just trying to get out of your body. It always feels like that, some times are worse than others but that is always what I would describe the pain as. She is right that you get used to the pain as in it is familiar, because endometriosis is every day of the year.

I always felt like someone was hacking away at me with an ice pick. Couldn’t sleep and can’t use underwear that applies pressure to my lower abdomen or around pelvic area. Pain went so high until I would pass out and that’s when I would take all the sleep I could get. So I can’t imagine child labor being any worse than that.

I got my period early at 11. Horrendous cramps that would bring me to the floor curled up into a ball. I got out on birth control around 14 for pain. I’m 33 now and off birth control and attempting to get pregnant with my husband. I was in the er on New Years they found cysts in my ovaries. Got my period 2 days ago and had to go to the Er again because I took oxycodone from the last visit and it wasn’t even touching the pain. I was curled up into a ball, almost throwing up, crying and moaning, dizzy. When I got to the Er I also was given 2 rounds of morphine, toradol, and dilaudid and finally was getting relief.I have a follow up appt Friday with my obgyn to talk about options. It pisses me off I’ve been dealing with this my whole life and I’m only being taken seriously about it now that I want to get pregnant with my husband. This world is so sexist. It’s disgusting.

Can I please ask a question to all you wonderful warrior ladies here? I don't know what on earth is wrong with me but I have been diagnosed with IBS after having an upper endoscopy and colonoscopy which were normal. Bloods all normal. I get crippling pain at any time of the month a lot but usually worse with period and ovulation. My hormones are so out of whack and I am very tearful and wound up all the time not to mention anxious and depressed. I do get classic symptoms of IBS but also hormonal and cycle problems so how the heck do I know if I suffer with endo as well because I'm honestly on the floor with the pain but it's not coming just around my period. Does anyone else get bowel problems with endo like constipation and diarrhoea? So hard to work out which it is or both? thank you.

I had felt a fraud until I had a child( via ivf) The contractions of Labour were just like my period pain. The pains I had been having every month since I was 12. I felt very cross that people had put my pain down. I knew that my 15 year old daughter also had endo when I found her drifting in and out of consciousness being sick , having diarrhoea, lying on the bathroom floor and screaming. I felt sick recognising her symptoms as the same of my own. Such a horrid pain.

I think these kind of videos and comment sections are great, being able to relate to others and read about real experiences and speculations instead of just the medical definition helps paint a bigger picture. For me personally, the type of pain can vary extremely much cycle to cycle. If I have severe cramping in the uterus that makes me naseous and faint, that usually takes over, so I don't think about or feel too much specific pain. But some cycles I have less cramping(or I have taken strong pain-killers), and only feel a constant burning sensation in specific areas, occational stabbing pain, a feeling of being poked by needles and pain that radiates to very specific places. I learned later that these were very typical for endo, but I probably didn't notice them for a long time because all the "overall pain" took over. I am 24 and after years on the hormonal IUD with manageble results it got so much worse fast, with no lifestyle changes. Now trying stronger pills instead, hoping it will work!

Went to the er Monday night. Was there for 12 hours. Just horrifying. Diagnosed with endo. Debilitating. I think I passed out on my way to the er. Couldn’t walk. Been dealing with this for years, thinking it was just normal girl stuff. I’m not sure I can do this for the rest of my life; it gets worse every month. Im scared to death of what next month is going to be like. I can’t believe there is no cure.

im just back from the hospital. I went into an icy lake today and i believe the cold water set me off. I thought i might be dying the pain was so severe. I was half naked and couldnt move from the floor. It took about an hour of me screaming, heaving, breathing deeply and the pain finally started to go away. Of course by the time i was at the hospital it was subsided. I told my mom that i felt like i was going into labor even though ive never had children.
