    FloJo d legend running on steroids and cheating herself to the top. NO SPRINTER in history has been able to improve their time in th e100 and 200 at the age of 28 by over a half second. FloJo cheated and the records will reflect that as long as honest people like myself call her and the system that allowed her to cheat to get what she wanted. Im sorry but the precious FloJo is not the hero she portrayed as. All her races were simply PED enhanced results or not which were easy to beat at the time) and both records were definitely wind aided PROOF by simply watching the videos her after the races. Wind in her hair, her lane assignment flapping in the wind as son as the 200 was over. Im from USA and Im calling FloJo as a fraud that should be treated just as Marion Jones was. She was sacraficed and let the beloved FloJo slide into history as if she did nothing wrong. Strike down FloJo's records now!!! She is a cheat!!!!

      Robinson never provided evidence for his claims and was shunned by the athletic community, leading to a premature end to his career. After the 1988 Olympics, Florence Griffith Joyner retired from competitive sports, a year before mandatory random drug testing was introduced in 1989. It has been tested multiple times during competition and has passed every test. After her death in 1998, Prince Alexandre de Merode, chairman of the International Olympic Committee's medical committee, claimed that Florence Griffith Joyner had been singled out for extra, rigorous drug testing during the 1988 Olympic Games because of rumors of steroid use. But Merode told The New York Times that Manfred Donike, who was considered the top expert on drugs and sports at the time, had not discovered any banned substances during the testing. The World Anti-Doping Agency was created in the 1990s, taking control of drug testing away from the IOC and De Merode. But Merode later stated: "We have done every possible and imaginable analysis on it. We have never found anything. There is not the slightest suspicion.....

    Flo Jo's greatness is proven by the fact that her world records still stand after more than 35 years. The men's 100- and 200-meter world records from 35 years ago have already been broken several times. If she used performance-enhancing drugs, if not, she is clearly the world's greatest sprinter. Let's add, no one has ever proven the accusations made against her. In 35 years, athletics, nutrition science, and the design of running shoes have developed a lot, but she is still the greatest. All credit goes to Flo Jo for the best running performance in the world.

    The Jamaicans and Flo Jo's American opponents want to erase her official world records. I understand the reason for this: It is hard for them to bear that there was such an excellent athlete who achieved such fantastic results without doping. The envy, jealousy, anger that they may feel because of this becomes palpable to those who can sense it. It's easier for people to make accusations, find excuses, smear someone (Flo Jo) if their goal is not to acknowledge the wonderful achievements of a certain person. Such is human nature...

      Exactly and they will never admit this. This 200m performance is the most dominant display of all time and the they only gave her 1 hour and 40mins to recover from her 21.56 200m semifinals. It's like the Olympic committee purposely set it up this way to try and keep her from getting the record. Flo Jo derailed this and coasted to the finish line with an epic smile and her hands in the air❤

    Through the decades since 1988, a lot of detractors have accused this defenseless woman of being a PEDs cheater, of doping, yet those detractors have never been able to prove their claims. I have to wonder, did this alleged PEDs / doping also grant FloJo the best, most perfectly energy-efficient running form ever seen on a human sprinter, too? FloJo trained herself into a beautifully flawless running machine. Emphasis on "trained." Rest in peace, FloJo.

    • @TheWayWithKhuwayne

      Florence had an interview following her retirement explaining she didn't have the same time she would usually have to train following the success of 1988 (photoshoots, interviews, international activities, etc). She explained she wanted to give her all her full attention to training for it to work but never got it because of all the bookings, travel etc. Plus, she said she wanted to have children, which she had in 1990. Plus, when you factor the seizures, her attempt to come back for 1996, her desire to do other events, it just seemed like she had plans in store before her health condition became a serious problem. ua-cam.com/video/IZzJyO5jiJ0/v-deo.htmlsi=F9TcTjK8TqEm9J9O This is the interview BTW. I genuinely don't believe she took drugs or steroids given her history in the sport before 1988. 1984 Olympic Silver Medalist, 1987 World medalist, she also was eligible for the 1980 olympics but was unable to compete because of the US Boycott. It's interesting how some people never assume she was on drugs in 1984 when she was an Olympic medalist that year, but only in 1988, based on her physique and the misogynistic remarks regarding her vocal tone (which was always present before 1988).

      @@TheWayWithKhuwayne From an article in the newspaper The Guardian ( Wed 28 Jul 2004 ): "Flo-Jo had transformed her body in her mid-20s, and was later accused of using HGH. Her post-mortem showed signs of excessive growth of organs, including her heart, which contributed to her death and may have been a direct result of drug use."

    • @TheWayWithKhuwayne
      @TheWayWithKhuwayne 5 місяців тому

      @@toresvenson6449 Firstly, an article released years after Flo Jo passed? That seems very one sided. She quit amateur athletics in the mid 1980s because of financial problems, if you read up her story she worked at a bank and hair salon during the time. Her focus wasn't on athletics until 1987 when she returned and won a World Silver medal. All that is stated from yourself is pure speculation and assumption that she took drugs or steriods. She died of an epileptic seizure and was retired in athletics for 10 years. Unless you or anyone else has evidence she took PEDs or Steriods, then it would be better to not to do this.

    • @toresvenson6449
      @toresvenson6449 5 місяців тому

      @@TheWayWithKhuwayne It does not matter when an article is released if the content is based on facts. The post-mortem showed more than the cause of death. There is an explanation for the growth of FloJo's organs. From another article on the news site Salon ( PUBLISHED DECEMBER 4, 1998 ) : 'Dr. Mauro Di Pasquale, author of numerous books on anabolic steroids and athletic performance, said certain changes in Joyner's heart could indicate the use of steroids or other banned substances. The autopsy report showed that Joyner suffered from "mild cardiac hypertrophy" and "occasional interstitial fibrosis" of the heart muscle, which "could be from the use of one or more of testosterone, anabolic steroids" or growth hormones, Di Pasquale told Salon.'

    About Flo Jo: It's a moral issue: Flo Jo achieved her results through hard training. She didn't need doping. That's the point here. She changed coaches, she and her husband developed new training methods, which brought the long-awaited success, in addition to the work put in. A statement from FloJo and her husband, Al Joyner: “I know exactly what people say about me,” she said. "And that's just not true." I don't need to use drugs. If they want, they can come for testing every week of the year. I have nothing to hide." Her husband says all the talk boils down to jealousy. He said his wife's astonishing gains are the result of being "trained as a man." He added: “We bought a $150 leg exerciser and she did leg rolls every night. Over 20 pounds every night to add strength to your legs. She worked 12 hours a day.” Only those who have nothing to hide say so. Do 12 hours of leg training a day for months and you'll set the world record👍 There are interviews with her from 1984 where her voice is exactly the same. She always had a deep voice.Her voice is also deep in the training video made in 1994, even though she hasn't competed in years. FloJo's death was caused by an epileptic seizure due to a congenital brain disorder, sadly drowned RIP❤ Florence Griffith Joyner retires from the field On February 22, 1989, five months after the Seoul Olympic Games, Griffith Joyner announced her retirement from track and field. When discussing her retirement with Liguori, Griffith Joyner said: "I retired in 1989 because I could no longer train at 100%, the way I used to train. If I can't give it my all, I don't want to give it at all." Griffith Joyner moved on with her life. She became a mother, pursued fashion design and continued to combine sports and style. She even designed the 1990 NBA uniforms for the Indiana Pacers. After the death of Florence Griffith Joyner, doping allegations against her intensified. Many believed that illegal performance enhancers may have contributed to her death. However, after the autopsy, Dr. Richard Fukumoto, forensic medicine expert, clearly stated that no changes caused by steroids or other doping agents could be detected in her body. "This report allows Florence Griffith Joyner to rest in peace," said Primo Nebiolo, then president of the International Association of Athletics Federations. “Her family has had to endure incredible media attacks, many trying to undermine her legacy without any real evidence. This campaign harmed the entire sport and the anti-doping campaign. I expect more responsible behavior from media representatives in the future. I hope that after this, many members of the athletic world will assure the family of their love and sympathy." The 100m and 200m world record holder is FloJo, these are the facts. Facts are stubborn things. "FloJo was juicing". These are just assumptions. The truth is, no one has ever proven these allegations. So FloJo's world records are and will remain official. I don't see anyone who can topple them. FloJo achieved her results with the perfect harmony of body, soul and spirit. Everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty. ❤

    Flo-Jo, the most graceful female sprinter ever. Such long, reaching strides. I could watch her run all day !

    A statement from FloJo and her husband, Al Joyner: “I know exactly what people say about me,” he said. "And that's just not true." I don't need to use drugs. If they want, they can come for testing every week of the year. I have nothing to hide." Her husband says all the talk boils down to jealousy. He said his wife's astonishing gains are the result of being "trained as a man." He added: “We bought a $150 leg exerciser and he did leg rolls every night. Over 20 pounds every night to add strength to your legs. He worked 12 hours a day.” Only those who have nothing to hide say so. Do 12 hours of leg training a day for months and you'll set the world record👍 There are interviews with her from 1984 where her voice is exactly the same. She always had a deep voice.Her voice is also deep in the training video made in 1994, even though she hasn't competed in years. FloJo's death was caused by an epileptic seizure due to a congenital brain disorder, sadly drowned RIP❤

      That's still not proof, just your assertion. Then write, you have concrete proof. These are just empty words! So my question is when and where was he caught?

      @@anslemslove5215Your claims are ridiculous. You have no evidence, you are just throwing words around irresponsibly. If you know any evidence of fraud, bring it up, because you can't prove anything with lying words. The 100m and 200m world record holder is FloJo, these are the facts .FloJo's death was caused by an epileptic seizure due to a congenital brain disorder, sadly drowned RIP❤

      @@lalib.53 - Lance Armstrong & Marion Jones also never got caught while performing. FloJo showed sudden increase in muscle mass & performance within a short period of time. Just compare her pictures from the previous Olympics. FloJo retired in 1988 before WADA took over & mandatory random testing became cumpulsory in 1989/90. She died young at 38 due to PED use & her records are fake ... all nicely covered up by both US & international sports authorities for obvious monetary reasons.

FloJo's death was caused by an epileptic seizure due to a congenital brain disorder, sadly drowned RIP❤ About Lance Armstrong: With this revelation, you claim that any successful result achieved by any professional competitor could have been due to doping. Have you ever thought about this? I hope that after this, many members of the athletic world will assure the family of their love and sympathy." Facts are stubborn things. "FloJo was juicing". These are just assumptions. The truth is, no one has ever proven these allegations. So FloJo's world records are and will remain official. I don't see anyone who can topple them. FloJo achieved her results with the perfect harmony of body, soul and spirit❤
