Happy New Year from Sheltering Arms. Every day in 2013, almost 2400 children got a great start in life, thank to early education that you made possible through your support. The needs-based child care tuition scholarships that donors funded helped hard working low income families to maintain stable employment and provide for their families. We can't thank you enough! Check out the video to see the fun we had this year, and look forward to more great learning and success for Sheltering Arms children and families in 2014...with your help!

This early 1990s documentary that aired on Georgia Public Television looks at the issues around affordable, quality child care at that time. The documentary opens with a look at the history of child care in metro Atlanta, told through the story of Sheltering Arms Early Education & Family Centers, founded in 1888.

This is a perfect example of teaching our young children today, and preparing them for the future. Early Childhood Education is so important and Sheltering Arms is providing the stepping stones and building blocks to make it happen!
