A short compilation of some animals we saw during a 5-day September 2024 backpacking trip in Grand Canyon National Park. Most of these animals were seen along the North Kaibab Trail in Bright Angel Canyon and includes birds, lizards, snakes, a tadpole and frog, a giant moth, mule deer and bats.

Second day of our 5-day R3 backpacking trip in Grand Canyon National Park in September 2024. On day two we ascend the North Kaibab Trail from Phantom Ranch to Cottonwood Campground with a side trip to Ribbon Falls.
