The Final Watermelon Harvest
Almost all the watermelons were ready, I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them all lol, do you have any suggestions? We ate some, juiced some, can you dehydrate watermelon? Lol #modernhomestead #homestead #homesteading #watermelon #garden #growfood

Great Nesting Boxes for chickens, they love them
Переглядів 402 години тому
Replying to @dinela.aguilar The nesting Boxes work great, they were easy to build and easy to install. The chickens love them, most days they are filled with eggs. We may change the layout or completely rebuild the coop in a year or so we are Just not sure on what we exactly want. #modernhomestead #homestead #homesteading #chicken #chickencoop #chickensoftiktok #nestingbox
How to Get Chickens to carve your pumpkins!! Easy and fun!
Переглядів 4614 годин тому
Well it's that time of year where I get my chickens to carve my pumpkins for me, the results were not as impressive at last year and I completely forgot to go back and check afterwards, I'll do it again soon with even bigger pumpkins. Did you know Pumpkin is a natural dewormer for them? #modernhomestead #homestead #homesteading #chickens #pumpkins #chickens

We added a new security camera to the Homestead, the Reolink Atlas PT Ultra this thing has an impressive 20000mah battery and can record for days! Day or night see exactly what's going on. This is my 4th Reolink camera and I absolutely love them, they are a great value for the price and are reliable #modernhomestead #homesteading #homestead #cameras #Reolink #altasptultra #reolinkcameras

The Cows Waterer has seen better days
Переглядів 2114 днів тому
The other day I noticed the cows Waterer was looking pretty rough. We'll patch it up for now and if we have time to fix it before winter we will but if not we'll add it to the spring to do list. #modernhomestead #homestead #homesteading #farm #repair
Separating Cows Livestock fencing
Переглядів 1314 днів тому
I'm trying to separate my cows and one of them keeps finding the week spots along my fence. Decided to add a hot wire to the fence hopefully that works till I come up with something more permanent. #modernhomestead #homestead #cows #fences #electric #pasture
Surprise Pumpkins In our compost pile
Переглядів 1714 днів тому
Well looks like we have a huge pumpkin plant growing in our manure pile and there's a bunch of pumpkins growing on it! I'm pretty sure I tossed my pumpkins here last year and that's why they are growing here, when I try to grow these it never works out, they always get powdery mildew and die, nature finds a way! #modernhomestead #homestead #homesteading #pumpkins #garden #manure
Vego Kitchen Composter Update
Переглядів 4514 днів тому
I figured an update on the Vego Kitchen Composter was due, this thing has been great! All our scraps end up in it and it's converted into great plant food for our house plants and garden. It's pretty incredible to watch work the breakdown process is really interesting, even the kids have gotten into the habit of using it. If your interested in one please follow the link in my bio #modernhomeste...
Paint a Tin Roof with Black Tremclad
Переглядів 2921 день тому
Well we finally got the Garage roof painted, we used the sprayer and it made short work of it, between prep, spraying and clean up it took about 4hours. I'm happy with the results, it ties everything together #modernhomestead #homesteading #painting #sprayer #tinroof

DIY Propane Pool Heater From 75F To 92F in a DAY!
My grandpa had 12 as i was kid. I heard eastern africa thier origin
Don’t forget the crescent moon on the door for ventilation.
Do you keep it on your dogs all day all night? Or do you have to take it off?? I'd appreciate your feedback!:)
I take it off my dogs in the at night. If you have a dog you need to let out at night know that It charges rather quickly (like an hour) , you could schedule around it,
@modernhomesteadfarm okay, thank you!
Do it brother! You kikin! A$$
I am trying to put my stove pipe together on mine. I tried to use the self tapping screws to connect the 3" pipes, butb the stainless steel is very difficult to drill through. Maybe I need a more powerful drill.
I'm pretty sure they just pressure fit together, I'll check mine, I think the only thing I screwed was the cap
Hilarious great job!
I figured it worked with handle bars why not this
I’ve just had this thought as I was watching Sunday morning UA-cam - I need to sort out my mud pits to allow grass to grow. Quick search and you are one of the first videos showing exactly what I had in mind, bonus of showing it actually works so thanks! I’ll find your full form video to see if there are any pitfalls to doing a larger frame. My designated areas are long and thin with other growth like trees and nettles and comfrey, so hopefully I can fit something custom that will work as well as yours seem to. Which grass did you select to go with the clover? I’m thinking of using what the Americans refer to as Kentucky blue grass if I can get some seeds. I think in Europe it’s referred to as meadow grass 🤷♂️
We own 2 it's because of their hell like noise he eat them in dinner
I need this power sweeper! Where do I find one?
Paint it black. It will look nice.
How did it work out???? Part 2 pls!
@@leslieblue5920 turned out great, did it last weekend.
Do you know the interior width?
@@Chris-lv5ul ill measure it
Its pretty good flattening out the weeds too!
Looks awesome
Nice video man! We are going to make this tonight with the kids.
@@9deltan9ne love this! You can make ice cream the same way too. I've got another video coming up
Its super cute! I bet kids would love to assemble this tower!
that's not ripe yet
I've always heard to pick them one week after the tendril is dried up. Maybe try that and see.
"Just a little bit" bro it's green😂
Look good
what if the battery runs out and they escape
real
Someone has Happy Feet! 😆
Nope not hollow enuf! I wait till the bellybutton is brownish. Try indeterminate watermelons so they ripen at different times all season, like the ones from the Navajo rez. I get indeterminate everything seeds so you don’t have huge messes of the same stuff to eat, can etc. try the little French cantaloupe from France, and make watermelon jerky, jelly and rind pickles so you have that great blast of watermelon flavor all winter. 😋
Innovative
I bet it works great
Ok 😊
Beautiful cabin. Plus by a stream, it's a lovely place. 💖
my sentiments exactly ❤🎉new subscriber
Nice😊
😂
😊😅
Brilliant 😊
where do i get this from?
As someone who's used every non DIY grow tower, the coolest things I like about your build ARE THE COLORS. So cool man!
Can you do this along the fences and things also?
I cant find a video showing what you used in the first place. Can you please point me in the right direction
Do you pour mineral powder in water???

Wow, What a nice house. I know you'll make it big one day
I like the rust. Also, wouldn't you have to remove the rust so the paint can adhere properly?
If I had 500 dollars even less, I would build a small greenhouse in Iran and pay for my family with the income. I wish I wish I wish
How many feet is the roll of copper and what size? Thanks!!
