I was stationed in San Bernardino in 91. They were all over the radio back then on KNAC. I was destroyed when Corabi joined Crue. I later saw Corabi fronting Ratt in the 2000’s
I really like what he’s doing with the Dead Daisies! Thanks for the comment!

“Jessie’s Girl” was released in 1981 not 1980. Rick actually had over twenty charting singles in the seventies and eighties.
As far as Lillian Axe goes, listen to the “Love and War” album from 1989. Other standouts of their catalogue include “Misery Loves Company”, “Nobody Knows”, “Crucified”, “Deepfreeze”, “See You Someday”, “Body Double”, “True Believer” and “The Day I Met You”. If those songs don’t do it for y’all, none of their catalogue will.
Cyndi Lauper had a version of “When you were Mine” on her She’s So Unusual album that is the most well known version of the song.
Don't fucking use AI. It's tacky as hell and doesn't even match what happened. And it's unethical.
This is amazing! I think Anthony might be a bigger fan of this music than he is an artist. What a great guy and a great interview!
Ratt is definitely one of my favorites, mainly because of their lack of ballads. lol
A live album from heavens edge would of been great
Doctor Eddie Ganja Here Blues how about my man Johnny Winter
Doctor Eddie Ganja Here Best Cinderella album Night Songs John Corabi has a kind of a Danny Mcaffeety voice Nazareth
Doctor Eddie Ganja Here This music to me is still the best music
Doctor Eddie Ganja Here At a young age I got into Rock music and the 2 Bands that blew me away were Deep Purple and Black Sabbath My Birthday is also May 17th I bought this album in November of 1991 I read a review on the Band and I put the CD in It rocked Outlaw Great voice great debut album Long live Bad ass Metal !!!

Alright! Sorry I'm 3 weeks late to the party...I recommended Stormbreaker. I think the reason you couldn't find it was because I recommended Chainsaw and then further down in that same post, I recommended Stormbreaker. You guys did an excellent review. The Stormbreaker song I sent you was called "Keep Me Waiting" Listen to that song and then Dokken's "Unchain The Night" You'll hear why I compared them to Dokken. I'll link both songs below. Thanks for reviewing 2 of my suggestions! You guys are doing a great job! Hopefully you can pick up some more followers!
It’s criminal that Heaven’s Edge didn’t become huge. That debut album, and their albums as well, ranks up there with the best of the genre. You can bet your ass that I’ll be getting the new album when they release it!
Thanks for listening and your comment! Hope you enjoyed the interview.
son in law had a killer soundtrack…the song perfect world by alias was amazing…also cc’s only solo song by himself with the cover of “hey good lookin”. both eddie and the cruiser movies and soundtrack's are fantastic.
Nobody chose Bohemian Rhapsody?? What?!?!?!?!
“Hungry For Heaven” is on the actual “Vison Quest” soundtrack.
Tommy Lee’s real name is Tommy Lee Bass.
“Metal Health” got added to the soundtrack as a bonus track when it was later reissued.
Paul Dean of Loverboy released “Sword and Stone” on his solo debut album Hard Core.
Kiss. A near perfect track, imo.
Prince is surely missed by many. I love “Kiss” as well!
Can you do an episode on Aerosmith or Enuff z Nuff?
Sorry for late response. Not sure why these are not notifying me right away. I’m sure Aerosmith will be done at some point. Can’t guarantee Enuff Z Nuff.
So, Neo classical metal is what your trying ta say.
Sure
Great, great interview. Anthony Corder is such a nice man and could listen to his stories all day. In so many interviews, the artist seems disengaged or is hard to get much out of them. Anthony is always willing to talk about his career and his life. The only thing I wish had been discussed more is I head Tora Tora has several songs recorded, are there plans for a new full length album and with the bands kids all growing up (Anthony's are grown) are there plans to tour a little bit more. If you have seen them lately, they still bring it.
Anthony was the best! We really didn’t have to say much. He answered all the questions without us even asking. As far as music, I think he mentioned having like 30-60 songs at one point so I think they have enough to choose from. Thanks for the comment!!
Best of the Rest is a great compilation. Besides the four new singles, it has several studio Outtakes and Demos from earlier eras. Some really good raw sounding stuff.
My favorite episode was the Firehouse one, but I may be a little biased! lol
As long as you keep watching you can have whatever favorite you want!!
@@ROCKRESURGENCERADIOPODCAST absolutely! I never miss an episode, sometimes I get busy this time of year and have to watch them later but I eventually catch up.
I love Lillian Axe. They r 1 of the most underrated bands. Ron Taylor the lead vocalist and he has one of the best voices ever. He played in band named Stiff before Lillian Axe. I actually net Ron when he was in a band called Bittersweet before Stiff. Known him since Bittersweet and 2 this day he still has a great voice. Plus he had great stage performance. Their music is timeless
Thanks for watching and your comment! 🤘
Awesome job guys! I suggested Chainsaw and Stormbreaker. Fun fact, Happy (the guitarist for Hairball) was also the guitarist for Chainsaw and U.K.I. Stormbreaker from Minneapolis is the correct band. I should've specified that. The Stormbreaker vocalist kinda reminds me of the singer from Crashdiet. Which I would like to suggest you cover as well as Crazy Lixx! Absolutely love those 2 bands. Also, you could do Fallon. He was the lead singer of Skid Row before Sebastian was. The Fallon cd can be bought from FNA records.. Anyways, thanks for doing Chainsaw and I look forward to your thoughts on Stormbreaker! Later dudes!
Bergy here! Stormbreaker episode is on the horizon. I’m already a fan of Crashdiet and Crazy Lixx! Check out their new single that just dropped today “Little Miss Dangerous” Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the suggestions! Was fun to do.
Absolutely fantastic video lads, great interaction between ye all, but the song selections were just brilliant!
Thank you for watching and the compliment!
Ah it's great to see Lillian Axe and Junkyard getting the spotlight!!!
Thanks for watching!
Whoa, that's Bang Tango?? I'm only familiar with the first two albums, that will have to rectified rapidly!
It’s a pretty cool album! You like that check out Beautiful Creatures. That’s Joe Leste singing also.
@@ROCKRESURGENCERADIOPODCAST Excellent, thanks for the recommendation.
I'm with the guy in the Junkyard t-shirt. Can't stand grunge. Dreadful stuff. First time hearing American Hair Band just now. Fantastic song!
Thanks for watching!
5. 5 man acoustical jam 4 pyschotic supper 3. The great radio controversy 2. Bust a nut 1. Mechnical resonance
Thanks for watching and giving your list!
Such a great band! Just late to the game in my opinion. Potential here is insane for the time they lived in.
Well said. Very talented all the way around. Unfortunately they get mixed up with some of the other cookie cutter bands that were coming out the end of 80’s and early 90’s who couldn’t hold their jock strap. Just bad timing.
You guys should rate another band like Bananarama
I would have switched Motley Crue for Tesla, Vince Neil sounded horrible
That bald guy looks like no hair metal guru!!
“Get it On” was the first single and the song that got all the Zeppelin comparisons
Great episode ranking the first few albums from my fav band! Over the years, psychotic supper has moved higher in my ranking and is probably number two for me right now. And if we’re ranking all of their studio albums, I would put Into The Now in my top five. I absolutely love that album. My ranking of their first few: 5. Five Man 4. Bust a Nut 3. Great Radio 2. Psychotic Supper 1. Mechanical - this album meant so much to me that I discovered Tesla by them opening up for Def Leppard on the hysteria tour, I skipped school the next day and rode my bike to the mall to Camelot music and bought that album and it’s been a love affair ever ever since. .
Thanks for watching! I totally understand the feeling for their first album! I had that exact same feeling except it was about 100 miles for me to get the album. Needless to say I had to wait a little while.
Motley Crue>>>Tesla And it ain’t even close!
Motley has been one of my favorites for many years. From like 1985 or so. I have lost a lot of faith in them over the course of past few years. With the backing tracks and all that shit. Vince not remembering the words to his own songs. I have a Motley tattoo also so it’s hard to say this stuff about a band I revered so many years. CT
@@ROCKRESURGENCERADIOPODCAST Ozzy also forgets words to his tracks & lots of bands use backing tracks these days. Do u also have the same resentment for them or is it just the Crüe that catches it all?
Those other bands were not my favorite. Also, I do understand that other bands use backing tracks and I’m not a huge fan of it. I understand the need in certain instances but when I pay $100 for a ticket I want to hear the real deal, warts and all. I have their music so if I want a recorded version I will throw it on.
@@ROCKRESURGENCERADIOPODCAST point still stands that many other bands do it, so hopefully the Crüe isn’t the only one that u hate for it. But we both know it’s ultra, super cool to hate on the Crüe these days, so no worries. I love those first 5 albums, love the band, the songs, and what they’ve meant to me throughout my life. We all have our choices and that is mine when it comes to a band I’ll always remember!
I don’t HATE MC. They are still one of my favorites. I just saying they have lost some respect from me. Not that they care what some guy from ND thinks. They are laughing all the way to the bank.
Badlands and Blue Murder, two sides of the same coin, musicianship wasn't "cool" by the late 80's. Scott Dalhover's from Dangeroys Toys just released a video from his new band Legion of the Dog and it's totally kick ass: ua-cam.com/video/r6Q1-7mrXM8/v-deo.html (all of this while taking care of cancer, massive respect) The other famous member of Arcade was guitarist Frankie Wilsey from Sea Hags, perhaps that was the guy Bryan was thinking about. A cool album from Dirty Looks is also Chewing on the Bit who features Alex Kane from Life, Sex and Death on guitars!
Thanks for the comment and for watching! Will totally check out Legion of the Dog! Thanks for the recommendation! CT
Dokken has to be next! Thanks for your work.
I’ll bring that up. Thanks for watching!
Excellent video! 🔥🎸🤘🏻
Thanks for watching and the comment!!
House of Lords Roundtable
That will be after the Kik Tracee roundtable.
Hey guys. Found my way here because of the Guru. Loved the show. Content was good, lists were awesome & Bryan is always like an encyclopedia of hair metal. My list would simply consist of oddball songs I happen to remember when going thru music in my collection. Here's five: FASTWAY - If You Could See NOIZE TOYS - Restless Love WHITE LION - Warsong DANGER DANGER -Turn It On SLEEZE BEEZ - When The Brains Go To The Balls Thanks for the interesting watch, guys. I'll give a like & I'll be subscribing. Take care !!
Thank you!
Debut! And while a song of it's time and hasn't aged as well as the remainder of the album, Rattlesnake Shake? Back then? Killer stuff and broke the album up nicely \m/
Thanks for watching and the comment! We appreciate you!
Great show ended on an absolute high with Dancin' On The Edge, that Badlands album was incredible! Taking a chance on something new back in 89 bought it on vinyl and all these years later in some form or another, it's never left the collection \m/ And if I may (trying keep it different), my 5... Seasons - Tyketto Helluvatime - Slik Toxic Don't Count Me Out - Bang Tango Free - Shotgun Messiah Tuesday's Rain - Asphalt Ballet
Love the Asphalt Ballet pick!
Into The Now is a fantastic album. I’d have it higher than Five man. If you were rating their top 6
