They both have their place. The tine weeder doesn’t work if there is a lot of previous crop residue. I would say you need a rotary hoe for sure and the tine weeder is a nice extra to have.

No, you can still use it. You just have to be carful of the speed so you don’t cover them up completely
Does the fixed chamber mean you can't change the size of the bail
If a person would forget to stop and the bail got stuck in the machine. Could you drop the floor to get it out?
You can only do 4’ bales with it. That’s the one downfall of the fixed chamber. The guy at the dealership said the back gate would just pop open if you forgot to stop when it’s full. Hopefully we won’t ever have to try that out 😂
