@@nicce nope. These are straight out of camera video footage with no colour LUT applied nor de-noise. Only did additional post stabilization. Yes I agree, it has very decent low light capabilities.

Hey! I'm sorry I don't have experience with using the Auto Lens Cap. I think it won't fit due to the extra thickness in front of the lens.

Then auto lens cap will not work with filters attached As it does not have enough room to close fully when turned off. Also if you’d like to correct the vignetting you could always order a step up ring & slightly larger filters to avoid them being in the lenses Field of view!

@@paullafleur6112 hey ! Thanks for dropping by my channel. The variable ND filter I would say is quite helpful especially on very bright sunny days and I wish to continue using wide open apertures. It does help. The reason why I chose a variable one over a fixed stop is also because I'm pretty put off with swapping filters when I'm out shooting. However as with many affordable variable ND, never attempt to use the extreme ends of the spectrum. They create a X-cross pattern in your images.

All my photos are set to Vivid if they're showing up as colour. In post edit , in some photos i would adjust saturation, black and white levels to bring out some pops to the subject. In some photos, I isolate subject and create a warmth tone against a cool background. But most of the photos I am pretty lazy and would only work on minimum crop and levelling of the horizons .

@@예나예지 Yes I'm using the Insta360 Go 3. Here are my settings: 2K 24 FPS Medium sharpness Warm colour profile I switch between linear, action and ultra wide depending on scene. I don't do color grading much nowadays. Takes up too many of my time. But I think the native colour profile looks great already.

Yes. I was impressed with the low light performance. It didn't seems to struggle at all

@@JTC1979 yes could had done that too. Will try them this way next time I go out shooting. Oh ya.. about the electronic shutter.. I didn't like the lost of heptic feedback from the camera. I do like the feedback confirmation of the mechanical shutter and I can immediately know the shot is taken. Sound sometimes is too faint to hear on a busy street

How would you find the Panasonic excel over the D-Lux 8 ?

@@StreetworksPOV DLux 8 is same camera with LX100 II. Leica cannot make camera without Panasonic.

@@rnwnsfla I can understand how you felt. Perhaps owners have a preference over branding and aesthetics to choose the Leica or Panasonic. The experience would then be different and hence all else wouldn't matter much.

The original Leica lens cap was much better and slimmer. Hence I had not been using or reviewing it. I could give it away as a lucky draw in my upcoming uploaded video with a quiz😆

Thanks for warm comments. Yes the roof top garden is accessible to all public. There's one particular lift that takes you up to this level.

@@finguo1223 regardless of what camera brand, the outcome of the photo from a camera is created with a set of optics. Unlike a mobile phone that uses artificial enhancement. Of course photography is pretty much acquired taste and a hobby not everyone would appreciate. Just like the old film camera and polaroids.

@@TheMightyMedia I would pick the GRiii as a complimentary piece for it's really compact size. The X100VI seems to be of similar size with the D-Lux 8 and I don't see why I need to have 2 similar sized camera with overlapping 28mm wide lens. The Ricoh probably serve as a carry it everyday camera. I doubt the Fuji can achieve that kind of convenience and minimal hassle. I did many videos in this channel with my Ricoh, you probably can see why I prefer the GRiii.😄

@TheMightyMedia oh haha I must had mistaken your message. I did look at the Sony a7C. Having the capability to swap lens is great. But I'm not keen to carry lens while I'm out shooting. Hence the D-Lux 8 I've chosen. X100 are fixed wide 28 mm ? lens. I don't see any gap in practically with your GR. So ya, spend a little more with the Sony, and probably much more with more lens in the future.. 😂 haha! You can't buy lens for the D-Lux 8. Hence my spending stops here. 🤭

@TheMightyMedia the 23 mm wide lens Vs similarly wide lens of the Ricoh I mean. Kinda overlap in their field of view.

If branding is not a conscious effort in you then the Panasonic works just as well. There's plenty of good reviews between these 2 brands and I'm sure there's certain attraction to the Leica.

If you can grab a good condition lx100 II (check lense motor and dust ) then get the lx100 it’s a better option there is more feature for less ( I did own the lx100 II and I do own the dlux8 now)

The reason for a monopod or tripod is mainly for the purpose a slow shutter speed that any hand held would be possible without causing background blurs. I agree the title thumbnail is a click bait albeit a legit one ..😆

I believe I'm already pretty close to each subject I intended to shoot , except for a couple of them. My snap focus is usually set to 2.5 m. There's a crop feature in the GR III. I knew it was there . But I didn't like that . Sometimes I would forget to change it back to it's 28mm

@@StreetworksPOV I'm NOT talking about a "crop" feature (whatever that may or may not be), I'm talking about the format feature- which you can change (as I suggested). If you're close enough, then just keep practicing until your composition doesn't need the cropping crutch.

Yes subject near to edge of frames are distorted. But sometimes I do find distorted subjects interesting too .

@@HokkienUncle I'm also intending to get the HDF. I made a quick check with my favourite store MS C**** and I'm on their waiting list. I think I will like the HDF more

A tighter crop with 3X would probably lead to less post cropping. But that would also mean the field of view would be narrower and might miss shots when I shoot from the hip ( aka not using viewfinder or looking at screen ).

It works like Ricoh Snap Focus. Except that the distancing needs some luck. The dial distance marking aren't accurate. But it's a fun lens.
