Borrowed some very used 200tw tires and chopped the gap to the top of my class from ~2 seconds down to 400ms. Funny enough more grip does not equal easier to control, I was def less consistent than normal and could have probably found that much time in the slalom alone. I'm coming for first when I get my own new tires though

This was the second session of the 45 minute quick fix, pace was definitely hindered by the lead/follow format (have to wait up for the slowest car passing each lap) Gearbox was behaving strangely, apparently the synchros were damaged, so I stayed in 3rd most of the time but otherwise the car felt great and a few corners were right at the limit.

This lap felt fucking phenomenal but definitely still some time to find in there. 1:21 barrier is breakable but 1:20 may take a while if it's even possible, maybe some more setup tuning (I am still kinda retarded there)

Since it's VR, each eye has a slight offset for the 3D effect to work. This is the SteamVR preview, mostly what my right eye sees with the left spliced in. In my actual vision it looks perfectly centered and 3D, and I don't even usually percieve the halo since it's offset just enough in each eye
This is more like it. Realistic lap times that actually make sense compared to real life. And you have the realism with vr. 🔥🔥🔥
