I’m a small farmer in the smoky mountains and these are the adventures and thoughts I have decided to share. I’m a Christian and my opinion doesn’t matter. Enjoy my opinions, theology, scripture and outdoor adventures.

Hopefully Woke Jesus didn't trigger you.
@@courtjester1135 nah I found the concept works both ways though. Jesus wouldn’t be supporting either side
But you’re original comment about satan writing the script makes me wonder if MAGA Jesus triggered you?
Mexico tends to have poor hygiene standards and dysentery from eating produce. SO why jump to the conclusion this is some kind of racism? Most Americans and Canadians begin taking antibiotics before visiting Mexico. Why? And you think it is racism!!
@@Alas-xj8cr I never said racism but yes it’s a continual concern and conversation for some people
But it is things like this that keep it going. Maybe they shouldn't have asked but I thought it was a law that produce had to be labeled country of origin. It is for this reason I don't eat salads or any uncooked store bought produce.
@@Alas-xj8cr I deal with a lot of people and a lot of produce not all are this way but some
Valid point
Asked about the grapes..1st time they 4 90 a pound...from usa...second was peru...2.20..last mexico 1.99..the first were full of flavor..last 2 were not worth what i paid for
@@scottjohnston8016 so in your experience Mexico grapes are not worth a damn
The problem is the shipping. The further you ship or the longer it takes demands earlier harvest before the produce is fully ripe. It's a trade off; I like corn on the cob. I buy it early knowing it isn't the best product. You just have to accept that fact or not buy the produce. I won't even buy peaches at the store anymore but if you can find a decent farm stand when peaches are in season they are great. It is what it is.
@@Alas-xj8cr I hear from the truckers the same thing
That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. It’s not that they don’t want SPANISH THAT ARE IN THE COUNTRY LEGALLY WORKING ON FARMS. It’s the ILLEGLs that are here they don’t support. If they come to this country legally we’re all good with them. They follow the rules and work to become a citizen. The illegals like the ones Biden and the Democraps bring in illegally and support with Americans money and products that we DO NOT WANT!!!
Think we called them hornworms. They are expensive to buy bottle that guy up and sell him 🤣
@@Mnguyen120 that’s what I’m hearing lizards love em
Does this make sense?
No, it doesn't make sense. Just because you're Mexican doesn't mean you're not American. If people don't want to support Mexico, it doesn't mean they hate Mexicans. They just want to support American produced products. Silly goose.
Think like "The Church Lady" a la Dana Carvey on SNL.
@@courtjester1135 like Babylon Bee and the woke Jesus same but different outcome

@@BadChristian-td2gg when I was in college one of my cooking and hospitality professors said she grew up in a farming town and they did it and it worked. I don’t know the recipe. Humans- we don't understand it so we'll kill it. There is a huge chance you would never be bothered by these wasps even standing right next to the nest. They usually only attack if under attack. I have paper wasps all around my house. Ive literally put my phone 2in away from the nests & recorded them for a min or 2. They check me out then go about their business. It would be much different if it were africanized bees or regular bees/wasps with bad tempers that will attack without being provoked. Ignorance = fear = violence. People hate what they fear, People fear what they don't understand. Knowledge prevents fear & hate.
You do this at night when its cool or even cold then most of the wasp are in the nest and are less likely to come after you. The next day take it down and douse it with lighter fluid and light it up
Love old Nissan Xterras, one saved my life when I had no business surviving a crash
@@mcguycurtdome2569 it’s a 2002 we love it, but we burned the transmission up here in the mountains. I plan on replacing the transmission and getting it back on the road in the near future.

Are those not baby butterflies? Leave the pollinators be. Wake up, we have to share the earth.
@@ivylarsen5355 I don’t prefer to share my hard worked for tomatoes with horn worms and if people like me did you wouldn’t have any tomatoes to eat? That’s sharing enough for me.
That’s a horn worm. They turn into moths😐
It’s not a pollinator. It’s a leaf eating machine that turns into a moth
@@mindym.1166moths are believed to be responsible of 1/3 of pollination at night but people hate them because artificial light make them silly and annoying. Night pollinators are important too
Gather them all up put them in a pot with boiling water, cayenne and garlic mash them all up together. Let it simmer in the pot for about 20 minutes run it through a sieve and then add it to a bottle of water and spray your tomato plants with it.

A hornet's nest is not opened up like a bee's nest or a wasp nest you have to put it in a trash bag throw gas inside of the trash bag before you grab the nest best to have somebody with a little skill do it for you or you're crazy neighbor😂😂😂

@@AngelicaJCardona maybe I should get a gecko!
@@BadChristian-td2gg I vote yes! They're great and fairly low maintenance as reptiles go. I have a leopard gecko. Very cute with chonky lil tails. When I come up to Opie's tank, he comes out of his hide wanting to be held (and fed).
They’re cute but I will freakin LAUNCH any that touch my matos, also if u got like reptiles or birds they love the hornworms. Occasionally in pet stores they’re sold as “gummy worms” because of the bright colors lol.
