Yes it has been tough for us as well, but it has gotten better in the last 3-4 weeks as we have got some current and color in the water….finally😅

I’m a Humminbird guy, but the picture quality isn’t great, it’s good enough for what I do. If I was super big into forward facing sonar I would probably buy a garmin. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍

For sure! It’s probably my favorite technique in the winter when the smallies get tight to the bottom.

Hello! I believe in your local lake submergent vegetation would be ideal, especially with the lower water levels. Most emergent vegetation has fizzed out now, but the submergent that is still green will hold the larger concentration of post spawn crawfish from their last dark moon breeding season. I like to fish these areas with a saltwater spook for early fall slabs 😂

That’s a great idea! I’ll have to do that. I prefer that my blades not extend way past the hook. So I like to keep some small tubing to space my blades up a bit on the frame.

You dont need a lot of baits. Dont get caught up in the lures. Practice with the ones you have

That is awesome! The river can be tough, but depending on the time of year and river conditions, it can be awesome. Right now I’d start to focus in the mouth of the creeks and springs that feed in. The Shad will start to group up here as the days get shorter and the water cools.

I hear ya, I’m actually at st. Clair right now for my second trip this year and 4th time here in the last couple years. it makes me not want to fish at home anymore 😂

I run the 360 on my 12, and mega live on the 9, the picture on the 12 with live seems a bit more stretched. I feel the live picture quality is better on the 9 personally.

That's exactly why I'm getting Mega Live. I hate fishing without knowing if their are fish around or not. Fishing deep is something I've always wanted to do so with ffs I believe I'll have more confidence. Great video, thanks for your time

All star nano graphite rods , I have been using them for about 5 years now and they take the abuse. They are as good as any $200 rod I’ve ever owned and are less than 1/2 the cost! Stiff back bone but a forgiving tip.
