I want to get one of the 'Zebrawood' kits, so I googled it all, and found that it is not REAL Zebrawood. It is a man made material called Engineered wood. It is layers pressed together then cut into guitar bodies. No wood on earth looks like this stuff. It's actually very unhealthy to sand down and breathe the dust since it isn't even wood, it's like dyed epoxy'd pressed layers. Google images of real Zebrawood, you'll see that it is nothing like the guitar that they claim is Zebrawood. It is false advertising. they say there's a disclaimer, NO there ISN'T. The only one telling you is me.

Nice guitar, dude! Check to see if the ground wire running to your bridge is well connected. If it is, make sure your input jack is wired white wire to the tip and black wire to the sleeve. One of those things is usually what adds the extra buzzing. I'm building the Zebra Les Paul from Bad Cat Instruments right now. It'll have all custom electronics with coil splitters on both humbuckers. I have got to add that Zebra Strat to my collection down the line. They're awesome guitars.

Try a plastic tip hammer and tap in the frets that are high.
