This project was a commission job a couple months ago now and I'm really happy with how it turned out. I appreciated the opportunity to work with such nice and expensive timber. this was probably the best woodwork project I've done so far. Thanks for watching

This most epic of cool and epic ideas sprung into my head while I was still in highschool many moons ago. The idea of a trolley being used as a trike has probably been done but I can not let this dream die, I will see it burn rubber! Thanks for watching!

nice
This is some true redneck shit love it
cool
put an end to it like a tip
So good. Amazing start
Well that sucks i really wanted you to succeed young ladd.
What’s the pro of this system vs just using a shelf?
I had that metal sitting around so the pro is I didn't spend money or time finding timber I guess. utilising the hook on the tubs to make it work. a shelf might be better suited. I certainly want to update this system as I have begun to outgrow it. see how it goes... hope this answer was helpful
Best fire pit vid I’ve seen 🔥
Its sounds dodgy to say but bbq paint works well on a engine block just remember to read the can
Well done mate 👍👍
love the new bathroom!
You just need someone to help you mate . They are very simple yet timing has to be done right . 😢but good on you for having a go mate
Just so everyone knows, The wagon is running and ready for the road. It currently has an au engine and box and runs mint. It is for sale @ $3500.
Grear video. About to do a motor with my lad for his XG.

Literally my situation but with a 93 eb 🤣🤣
I'm the new owner of this wagon and I'll be getting it back on the road. I will not end up owning it though as someone else has put their hand up to own it once I have fixed it.
awesome!
@@lachlansworkshop.9027 you'll be able to see it on my channel boxcar E series

Hi what's the best mods to do to a Ed 4.0 ltr just to freshen up & a little bit more power? Thanks ✌️
Maybe look at cam upgrades and headers. It can be a little costly, just google some cam upgrades and research what you need, I think there's a chip you need for the ecu to tune it. Apart from that I'm not very knowledgeable.
Yea the factory computers cant really cope with aftermarket cams etc etc. J3 chip is needed i think. Wifey has an ED fairmont. All ive done to it is a full 2.5" exhaust and fitted AU fuel injectors as they have a better spray pattern, went through and did dizzy rotor and cap, Eagle HT leads and set of plugs. Checked and adjusted the ignition timing ( bit of a process ). Runs good. The bigger exhaust made a huge difference to it, opened it right up and now i find it uses less fuel too.
14:07 always tighten down things evenly to make things seal better, on engine cover you can see the first bolt was tightened down all in one go which its better to bring it down little by little the same as you do an engine head
6:34 Always use GM sealant when fitting welsh plugs, just a light smear and bang them in. It's a bit pricey, but it's worth it
Well done bro. Good job.
Very clever mate. Really enjoyed that. Keep it up.
Great effort, good to see a young fella getting in there and learning, it’s the best way to do it.
Old mechanic here and about halfway through I thought, "Wait, what?! A young guy that's not glued to a screen?! Awesome." Good job, love the, "Never done this before, but I'll give it a go" attitude.
old mechanic didnt pick up not using a sealant round welsh plugs?
You know what I like about this video? I don’t need to hear the noise, it’s to the point, and you didn’t show us how to grind the paint away.
Aye u got the same Chinese work boots 👌🏽
Gday mate love ya vid
You certainly don't do things in halves. There's no way I could be stuffed doing all the sanding in between coats and filling holes with stuff. If you're work ethic at a job was like this you'd certainly be a handy worker to have.
Awesome little series! Spewing to see you didn't get it over the line but I'm sure your Grandpa would be real proud of you for have a real good crack at it.
Awesome video. Really enjoyed it.
Sooo close ... new second hand gearbox if you need to. Youll get there
2:29 thats a oil channel plug lol they don't rust.
Hey man you did a great job mate don’t be down trust me you did your best an I’m subbed for future projects idk what happened with the gear box but I believe the timing was off an probably should of got the valves reseated but at the end of the day what’s more important is you did you best man honestly your a mad cu.t loved your videos an hope to see more in the future great work mate
Super determined to get it on the road after watching your vids, Lachlan! This one almost made me eyes leak. Engine's out, new trans ready to go in, fuel tank will come out for a clean and refurb, then we'll see about an update video. Can't promise anything as well produced as your channel but see how we go. Cheers cobber!
looks like she just needs the timing sorted out but hopefully you keep her around and fire her up one day, like most projects, its costing you nothing to keep it in the backyard. Ive got an XG Panelvan im doing up in geelong. Love the vids

Good on you for having a go. As someone said, there’s no failure here. You’ve set out on a journey and picked up all sorts of awesome knowledge and skills on the way. I’m still a ‘watching UA-cam videos guy’ …. Want to have a go at fixing up an old e series or AU myself someday!
watching youtube is great to build your knowledge and it does feel good to put the work in so definatly give it a go when you feel ready.
Keep it, ,your grandfather would be proud of you, for keeping his trusty old falcon, ask for help on the e series page, someone will help you, don't give up .
Im just too lazy for it now haha
@@lachlansworkshop.9027put the car aside for now, you come to your senses in due time,
Hey you didn’t fail if you learnt something. Good on you for having a crack at it anyway! If I had the money rn I’d buy it but I’m happy to help you try and get it going - I’m putting an XG on the road and it was fun to tag along on your journey with the car.
Have you got it listed for sale if so where can I find it
