Thanks for sharing this video. You know some people go to unicorns or whatever is there good luck sign / symbol. Mine is pelicans. Was in the hospital and my room was overlooking a pond in Orlando and I had had the surgery a few days earlier and was looking out the window and all the sudden the pelican lands in the pond now keep in mind, me being from Miami I went to the Florida keys and many many times and I know a lot about pelicans and pawns are not where they hang out. So I told my nurse that I had for 9 days about the pelican landing there and she goes you know what I've been here 10 years and I've never seen a pelican there. And she said you know what, that was your husband coming to see that you're okay

I owe my life to a brave pilot and crew who came for me in May 1967 in a UH-34D. It was a hot zone, with the enemy firing from both sides of our dried rice paddy LZ and both gunners were firing back. I had only a little time left before I bled out, but they waited for me and took me and two others to Charlie Med and I'm still here, thanks to that crew and that gorgeous bird. God bless all medevac pilots - they never failed us.

2002 Sikorsky H34's Helicopter

I remember seeing these all the time when I was TDY at Tinker.

They were a good noisy machine when they had their recips. I flew Hueys in Vietnam and was glad we were not as tall as the Marine's 34's as the pilots are on the very top. In full metal jacket the 34's had turbines and a sound track was required. Also, not a one of the shown helicopters had any bullet hole patches and I got a kick out of that as we had LOTS of bullet hole patches. Thanks for sharing the video and best of luck! Also, you could stand up in a 34, but not in one of our Hueys.

I was out there on a trip this year we walked over that crossing and we would get into trouble if we jumped onto a coal car or tried to picture the trains that was not moving I was sneaky enough to grab one pic
